How I Can Spend $20 During The Weekend

$20 in my country is a very small amount of money if it has been spent to buy anything you feel like buying. The recent dollar is about 650 naira in my country Nigeria which means that $20 is equivalent to 13000 naira. Now spending this on a weekend is a huge amount of money but if we compare it to the price hike of course or any items in Nigeria it is valueless. To buy food stuff initially was on a lesser side but now everything has gone on the high side just because of our economy. Those in charge are not ready to drop the price of goods, instead want to increase every damn goods just to favour them but to the disadvantage of the common man.

Back to business

I have $20 that is #13000 and want to spend it on a weekend of which they must be left over with me. How do I go about it? This is a big question and the answer to this question is not far-fetched. I have a family which is precious to me and after working from Monday to Friday I have to find a way to take my family for an outing. Selling items from Monday to Friday and even Saturday as well as part of Sunday has been part of Me. This means that I have not been able to take my children for an outing except to their father. So with $20 I can be able to take them out just for them to enjoy themselves to the brim because staying at home all day long is not an easy task and also my children to be going to school throughout the week without a day of refreshment by taking them for outing it does not sound palatable.

There is a place or rather an eatery, that my daughter always recommends and that place looks nice. I will take them to either Ontario or any place of your choice. But taking them to the beach should be the best.

Will transport from my house to the beach for 2500 naira and right there in the beach we need to pay for gate fee or $500 per head, this shows that I will be spending about #2500 for the five of us. With this, #5000 is gone. So why in the beach we are going to buy soft drinks or food for #2000 for the five is us. We will be there to enjoy ourselves to the fullest and also to have fun.

Coming back from the beach we are going to spend another 2,500 naira. I will also take them to Ontario to buy some snacks and also to have fun. There are children's fun centers in Ontario and so my children will be very happy to have fun with other children. After having the fun I cannot leave them just like that but they have to take something. I will buy them ice cream. My children love taking ice cream most especially my daughter. They love it to the fullest and buying this for them will make them feel special and happy. Ice cream in Ontario cost 500 naira per plate. So, I am going to buy 4 plate to make up #2000 for the four of them.

Ontario is just a stone throw to my house and so, #500 will be enough to cater for our transport.

With my calculations, I have spent #12000 to save #1000.

This is how I would spend $20 if I am given.

a very good planning weekend getaway. with a budget that you use is not up to 80%. The important thing is that we can vacation even with a little money and a simple holiday theme.
