If I'm Able To Speak A Language Other Than Mine

This is what I love most. To be sincere, I can only speak my native language and English as a borrowed language. This is the common language we all understand here in Nigeria. This means if I cannot speak someone else's language right here in Nigeria, I will be able to communicate with such a person through our borrowed language, English. This is what he or she may understand as it is the general language. Unlike some other countries that do not understand the English language, they can only speak their general language. We were colonized by the British and so we have the right to speak their language which is the English language. Speaking it is not our problem but applying it is the major problem here.

Back to business
I have always dreamt of myself speaking Spanish. I love to know this language as this would be a means of knowing people from the Spanish countries. While seeing the way the language is being spoken, gives me lots of joy.

In life, there are always reasons for liking something or wanting to do something that you love doing. So, to be sincere, the reason I want to acquire this language is to get a job at the embassy. This would help those who cannot speak the language out. I would serve as an interpreter. I have learned that there is a lot of money involved.

So many people have one way or the other ignored the fact that learning other languages can make you rich. This is a fact which I have learnt from someone. He said it never ignore the power behind the interpreters. According to him, so many people have been running away from learning other languages as a course in the university forgetting the joy one can derive from it.

The only language I have learned a bit is French. I learned it when I was in secondary school but just the outer part of it. I found it difficult to learn but in fact, so many people are dying to know it and few of them who know it are making a living from it. So, being bilingual can be of great benefit to humanity.

When you learn other languages and you are opportune to be among them, no one can cheat you.

✓ You will derive joy to speak this language I have seen so many people who can speak some foreign languages and are so happy to have known those languages. Speaking it with those who have the language can uplift your personality.

✓ It can create an opportunity. There is every tendency that when you know how to speak one foreign language, you can be able to have great opportunities. The opportunity to gain access when you are in their midst, the opportunity to gain a job in the embassy and the like.

So, knowing or learning this language would be of great benefit to me. It is good and very important to learn other languages other than yours.
