Just after fifteen minutes of action Portugal team got a penalty which was played by Ronaldo but the Portuguese man disappointed his country by loosing the Penalty.
Thirty minute after, just before the referee blew his whistle for half time break Sheffield United defender John Egan got his head in a cross coming from corner to score a brilliant goal for his country.
The match ended in 1-0 in favour of Ireland team at Half time. Although the Portuguese players tried to scored in the first half but were not able to do so despite their offensive style of play.
Portugal continue to dominate and try to create lot of chances to score but Ireland players denied them until 89 minute when cross from Goncalo Guedes meet Ronaldo in the right position at the right time. Ronaldo did not hesitate to convert the opportunity to goal to change the score line to 1-1.
In the 94th minute Portugal got a penalty which they were denied by the referee who think it is a fair play.
In the 96th minute another perfect cross from Joao Mario met Ronaldo at the right spot again and the Manchester United player converted it to goal with fantastic header.
Christiano Ronaldo has proven that his is a word class player, he keeps scoring and keeps breaking records in football, what a great header from him to secure a 3 point winner for his team.
