Now for something completely different

We're all sick to our back teeth of Covid-19 at this stage. It's been over 18 months since this virus came into our lives like a wrecking ball. People have died, suffered, lost jobs, and although none of these things have befallen me or my loved ones, it's still been a hard time, where I saw little of my family and friends. This weekend I'm having my first weekend away with a group of family/friends since this thing began many moon ago, and I'm very excited at the prospect.

We are renting a boat and touring up the Shannon River, while drinking a few beers, playing some cards and having an all round good time of it. What could possibly go wrong!?

Here she is, our home for the next three days. I'll do a separate post about the craic (fun and frolics) we have on tour, but this post is just about the beers we'll be drinking tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. Sláinte wherever you are.
