Exactly 10X Ago

It's easy to get comfy with convenience and forget about the hard times, but I do have a good memory and that sometimes serves me for my benefit and sometimes not. When looking at the HIVE chart today, I felt like "swiping backwards" a bit and looked at where it was one year ago.

I don't know how many of you know that, but HIVE was 10X lower the current price, just one year ago. Yes, for the ones that have not entered a coma when the price went low and paused their Hive activity, probably remember that HIVE has had a quite painful flattening curve at the beginning of 2021.

I still remember how frustrated I was seeing the likes of LINK and XTZ pumping, right at the beginning, or the end of what some would call a bull market, while HIVE was lagging. Why? I literally have no clue. All I know is that I was as active back then as I am now.

HIVE is currently close to $1.3 and it might go up... or down, from there. Personally, I believe it will "find a floor" somewhere around a dollar and that's from where it will shoot to the moon. It's easy to get frustrated during such times, though, when the market doesn't do anything, but seems to be even easier to overlook what's happened over the course of just one year.

Hive is totally different than what it was a year ago... At least that's how I see it. Communities are more mature, we have NFTs now, DeFi is taken to a next level thanks to Leofinance, we have a second game that's about to be launched and a "twitter like app" from Leofinance that's gonna hit us soon as well.

Hive is no longer the same and neither the main layer token price...

I thought I got hacked today though. Soon after I woke up, I turned on the other side, grabbed the phone and opened Peaked app and when checking notifications I sensed something weird over there, it's like there were too many in just seven or eight hours of sleep, when opened my blog... surprise, surprise, I had a threespeak video uploaded... while sleeping.

At first I though I got hacked, I guess I said that before, but than I opened the post and found my shit over there, couldn't load the video on my phone, I don't know why threespeak doesn't work there sometimes, but the text was definitely mine. That's when I asked myself the question: *why would any hacked reupload, or edit, or do whatever with some old post of mine?"

Than I found out from @theycallmedan it was some threespeak error that accidentally posted on our behalf failed to upload old posts. This one was actually my first attempt to use threespeak, that failed at that time, but succeeded now, some two years after I guess.

Unfortunately some auto votes have been casted on that post and other people found the video really worthy of curating and commenting :D. One guy was even congratulating me for my first video uploaded, cuz that's what the title was saying... I guess this is one of these funny days of Hive. Luckily, I wasn't hacked and not much mess has actually been created with this error from threespeak and...

Lets not forget we are 10X the value HIVE had exactly one year ago. That is something and it's a reflection this project has moved in the right direction/s. Some others haven't. Development is key and we don't lack that. Hope anyone has a great Monday and start of the week and see you to the next post.
