The Future of Hive: Imagining the Next Decade

I'm not very good at predicting things, but I have a vivid imagination that takes me to all sorts of extraordinary worlds and situations :). Well, not literally out of this world, but the point is that imagination knows no bounds and cannot be restrained or taxed.

I've been a dedicated Hive user for over five years now, and I plan to continue using it for many more years to come. Over time, Hive has undergone tremendous evolution since its inception as a fork of the Steem blockchain. We haven't reached the moon yet, which means there's still plenty of room for growth.

How Do You See Hive in Ten Years From Now?
It's a tough question, but I'll give it a try, and I hope as many of you as possible will join in and share your views on how you envision Hive evolving over the next decade. Let's talk about money first...

I foresee Hive becoming one of the top 30 projects by market capitalization, and I have a reason for this prediction. If we compare the crypto market to the dotcom bubble, we should eventually expect a burst and a redistribution of capital from speculative coins that are backed by nothing but thin air.

A significant portion of that capital will be redirected elsewhere. It won't flow into stocks, and it probably won't return to the banking system either. When billions upon billions are withdrawn from speculative projects, a considerable amount will flow into Hive because it's undeniably a functional project.

Hive has been delivering results for years, and we have only scratched the surface of its development potential. As a side note, I also believe that, at some point, we will witness a proper marketing push for Hive. Eventually, even the whales will recognize the importance of marketing and cease to overlook it.

There will be a plethora of mobile apps available for Hive. I anticipate that @liketu and @leofinance will be among the first to develop proper mobile apps for Hive. @threespeak seems to have received approval for their app from the App Store, and the Google Play Store could be next.

Without convenient and user-friendly ways to interact with the blockchain, Hive's evolutionary path will be hindered.

In the next ten years, I envision numerous games built on Hive. This will be made possible by the increased L2 scalability. The gaming industry is poised to benefit from crypto tokenization, and Hive has already seen games built on its blockchain. I believe that we will have plenty of games like @ragnarok, many of which will also offer a fun experience.

HBD payments. Has anyone considered that? I ponder this idea as someone who uses crypto for daily transactions. I can foresee a potential "partnership" between Hive and a payment system that integrates HBD, making it possible to spend HBD worldwide.

Last but not least, let's not disregard the potential of A.I. I may not be an expert in A.I., but one way we could see artificial intelligence integrated with Hive is through personalized content discovery. Imagine having a feed tailored specifically to your preferences, providing content that resonates the most with your unique Hiver personality.

These are just a few of the changes I anticipate for Hive in the next decade, and I hope my expectations will be surpassed. Now, what about you? What's your opinion on this matter?
