How much can you earn from playing Rising Star?

I have started to play the Rising Star game several times with more or less success. This time around, I've actually invested some money but of course for every investment, it's good to know what kind of return you can get. I wanted to know how much it was possible to earn from the game and whether it's worth to actually grow my account.

To answer these question, I tracked my own progress for about 10 days and I tried to figure out my income in relation to my stake in the game. You will find the detail of my calculations within the video.

I know wanted to compare my results and see how these numbers evolved if an account is bigger. Therefore, I asked my friend Zoltan (aka @cryptofiloz in Rising Star) about his earnings and his investment.

The interesting part is that the account of Zoltan is about 10 times bigger than mine and he earns also about 10 times as much as me. This shows that it is worth to invest into the game through buying packs and owning cards. The more cards you have, the higher your income in Rising Star will be.

Please keep in mind that the game requires to take missions. If you don't take the missions, then your earnings will drop to zero. The good thing is that the missions really only require some clicks from time to time and it's a great game to play while otherwise being active on the computer.

What keeps me coming back to Rising Star is constantly chasing the progression. Anything I earn from Rising Star gets ploughed back into buying packs. I haven't built up the courage yet to buy 1M STARBITS to unlock the millionaire mission. I recall a while back you doing that, have you calculated how long it will take for it to pay itself off?

At the rate of 10'000 starbits per day from the millionaire's mission, it will take 100 days to break even, not counting the mission time lost on other missions.

What keeps me coming back to Rising Star is constantly chasing the progression.

I quite agree with you on this point and I think it's the same in all the other games. To keep on top, we always need to reinvest our earnings. Once I have reached a respectable rank, I try to take a certain percentage out of the game. Often it's like 10% and I put this money aside. I do the same for Splinterlands. I leave 90% in the game and take 10% of the earnings out.

I believe that with the time invested in these games, we need to make sure that we can earn something from them in the long run :-)

So, I signed up using your referral over a week ago for rising star, and I am enjoying the game, so I have no regrets, but I am over 100 missions, and I wonder when you are paying out the 1000 Starbits? Or did I miss it because I can be silly sometimes?

It is really interesting that more cards lead to more earnings. They don't really give data on that in the game, so that is really useful information to have. I had wondered whether it was worthwhile to invest in more cards. Buying them is a little habit-forming, but I was not certain whether or not it was a good habit.

Do you think the number of people playing is growing?

I signed up using your referral

Can you tell me the account name that you used because I can't find @harlowjourney among my referrals?

I think it's a good idea to reinvest part of your income into the game. Like that your return will actually grow over time. In addition, cards can be sold on the market if one day you don't want to play the game anymore.

Do you think the number of people playing is growing?

Yes, the number of accounts has been growing steadily. It's a slow progress but I see the ranking getting longer and longer :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you. Yes, I used @harlowjourney, and I was careful to use your referral link, but, I guess it did not work. It makes me wonder, though, how many referrals you are missing out on because, while I am not immune to errors, using a referral code is not rocket science. Lol.

Anyhow, thank you for the awesome content. I am enjoying the game, so I am glad of the suggestion and sorry you did not get credit for the referral.

With referral link there is always a cookie issue. If people click the link once, it sets a cookie and even if you use the referral link to sign up, it can use the one link that was in the cookies. Sorry it didn't work. As compensation, an additional upvote for you ;-)

It's nice to know and it doesn't even include the base cost of the card. It took me a few months before I could get the millionaire card without investing much besides some blogging earnings.

It's a slow progress to get there. Investing in some packs can speed things up a bit but in the end you still need to make all the missions to level up and grow.

That's a very respectable APR! Thing may vary depending on the cards, but still, very impressive! I could actually see that myself, as with very little investment the growth rate is very good.

I believe it's a very interesting APR without being excessif. At the moment, I reinvest everything that I earn in new packs and I see my earnings increase steadily.

Btw, do you play with the account @ga-sm?

the APR you calculated is not bad at all for playing a few times a day :)

Thank You!

I also believe that this is quite an interesting return for a game that doesn't require a big time investment :-).
