This Post is an Error caused by 3speak, sorry about that

I've lived through a very stressful week-end. Switzerland, the country I'm living in has gone through the pandemic quite well so far but things have turned for the worse quite drastically. Politicians have waited to long to take measures and now they are implementing new measures at a very fast rate.

I have an offline business and these decisions have a big impact on my business. I had to implement mask obligations two weeks ago and on Friday I had to close down my business because they way I was running it was not conform to what the authorities demanded. On Sunday I got the ok to open again with very specific instructions. I got these instructions at 10 a.m. and had to implement them withing half an hour. You bet that I was improvising a lot.

Improvisation and very fast changing world
As a company owner there is only one security nowadays and it is that nothing is sure at all. I need to improvise on a daily basis. I can't plan, I can't invest, I have to react constantly and improvise.

Improvisation needs information
I also realized that in order to improvise, we need to have the necessary information to go forward. We need to have a plan about where we want to go but we also need to have an open mind in order to adapt.

This is also true for our journey on hive. So much is happening on the blockchain and we need to know about it. We need to understand how things are evolving and what bears a lot of potential. Therefore I believe it's always a good idea to have a look at the most trending posts to see what is new.

I think mankind is gradually losing their mind. For sure, improvisation and resilience are even more needed now! Good luck with your business!

Weird it says the video is no longer available (video removed or banned).

As for improvising, it's something we all have to do. Nothing ever really goes exactly like how we planned so we need to make changes fast and quick when we need to.

Yeah I think the pandemic has caused a lot of disruption in our lives, but at the same time, have made us more adaptable to changes. Stay safe over there!

Geez, Achim! Sorry you're having to go through all of that. Having almost no time to make changes is super stressful. Much more so with an offline brick and mortar business than with an online business. At least that is my feeling around it. I guess it would help if the information you need to run your business was given out more efficiently.

Thanks a lot for your kind words Lisa. I had actually posted this video a couple of months ago and for whatever reasons, 3speak posted it again. But I agree brick and mortar business are having a hard time. In the past months it was a constant adaptation to the changes implemented by the authorities....

You're welcome, Achim! My sister has a hair salon in Los Angeles, CA. They have had to jump through all kinds of hoops to stay open as well. Sending good wishes that you're able to stay open. Have a great day! 😀

That is true in business the need for flexibility is the difference between failure and success.
How do you like living in Switzerland? Are the Winters crazy?

Where I live, winters are quite warm with only little snow. For people living in the mountains it's slightly different however :-)
