The effect of Chaos Legion sales on daily SPS airdrop
We have all become quite used to get our daily SPS airdrops from Splinterlands. If you haven't bought a lot of card packs from the general sale of chaos legion, your airdrop will probably be much smaller today than it used to be!
In this video I will try to explain the reasons for it.

Just an absolutely slaughter on my daily SPS and of course, it doesn't help that it's been tanking in price.
Be nice if we saw SPS getting listed in some of the big boy exchanges going forward.
Seeing SPS on binance or coinbase would be fantastic!
That is interesting I had 15 Chaos Packs before I started opening packs. I should have waited because I went from .775 SPS daily to only .332 after I opened the packs, It was cut by half and I think it has gone down to about .284.
I believe that the closed packs are more valuable for the daily airdrop than opened cards. That's another reason the keep the packs unopened :-)

My SPS actually went up but that is because I have been buying cards and a few packs.

If you buy more cards and packs than the average player, your airdrop points will go up. The problem is that you need to buy every day to keep up :-)
Agreed. My allocated money has about run out so I will be down to working to buy a card a day to flesh out my CL level 2 set. I would expect some fluctuation in the SPS airdrop as people open their packs. The 300 airdrop points will drop to 119 CP on average. Splintercards is showing 11,399,060 BCX printed so only 2.2 Million packs opened so far. Might be out of date but the best data I have.
I haven't been collecting daily so I can't tell the difference but I don't think there is much of a difference between what I usually get. I bought 500 packs and opened 58 of them.

Out of my 58 packs that I opened, I got 1 GFL and 1 Legendary card.

My SPS airdrop dropped because I used DEC to buy the packs and the CP from the cards was way lesser than the amount of DEC in terms of airdrop points. But it was expected anyway. :)
Yes what you did had probably the biggest effect on your airdrop. DEC counts more than packs and packs count more than individual cards... but on the other hand you now have cards to play with :-)
I'm buying cards on the market to build my deck so my sps airdrop is not decreasing right now. When I'm done with that I'll buy as much sps as I can because i really think that after Q2 the sps train will leave the station and it will be too late to make a big bag at such a low price.
