My race to the top in Rising Star – Situation after two weeks
Two weeks ago, I decided to give Rising Star a second try after having talked with some friends and learning about the income potential of this game.
I decided to invest some money that I had collected from selling untamed Splinterlands packs into Rising Star. I made a rather big mistake to start with and then invested in packs and cards.
After 14 days in the game, I believe I have progressed quite nicely. I started in rank 600 and slowly progressed to my top ranking of 167th to fall back a little bit once my investment budget was spent.
I started with level 32 and am now in level 41. I still need 9 more levels to be able to play the millionaires mission. At least I have the card already lol. I believe the key to progress in the ranking will be to buy more packs. This will allow to generate more income thanks to more fans and skills and like that I will be able to get even more packs and progress even faster :-).
I will keep you posted to inform you whether my strategy is working out...

You will be level 50 soon enough. I grew my account all organically but I did use some blogging rewards from Rising Star. I personally like to wait till I get 100k so I get 2 extra packs.

The first time around I tried to do it organically but then I got a bit frustrated. Once I'm at level 50, I believe I will also wait to get 100k to get 2 extra packs.
Organic just takes time before things get working. My current rank from organic is usually within rank 60-75 by opening 12 packs every week and sometimes buying a few cards off the market.

By the way I'm progressing, I might reach level 50 before I'll have 1mil starbits saved for the millionaire's card. 21st level now. Right now I keep reinvesting to grow my fans, as I don't have an issue with ego ratio for now.
You are doing it the correct way around. I started by buying 1 mil starbits lol. It's better to get to level 50 first ;-)
