this great day, I welcome all the ladies of hive community to my blog. On this contest I will love to talk about the number of women travelling solo that is on the increase.

We are going to be looking at it from different angles. First, why do we have woman on this journey alone? The advantages and disadvantages, the way forward.

I will like to start by saying that even though I am a married woman, is not compulsory for every woman to be married. So, I will not want to see women alone on this journey as a bad idea.

WHY DO WE HAVE THEM ALONE?

• some are not meant to get married no matter how they try, it will not work.

• some have experienced ♥ heart break, and don't want to face it again.

• some have decided to be alone maybe because of what they seen in marriages that is wrong.

• some have decided not to be under the authority of any man. The money is there, children can be adopted, and so they see no reason why a man should dictate for them how to run their lives.

• some have decided to stay alone because of the pain associated with child birth.

• some have decided to stay alone when they see married Women go through hell in the hands of their husbands.

IS THEIR ANY ADVANTAGE ?
Yes, there are some advantages of being alone as a woman.

1. No one dictate for you how to run your life.

2. You make any decisions you like without having to go and explain to anyone one why or how you did what you did.

3. You make and use your money the way you want. In Africa, our men dictate for a woman how to use the money she suffered and earn.

4. You are always a queen in your father's house. If a woman is married, her husband's people may or may not accept her.

5. You make the kind of friends you like. A man may decide that his wife will not make friends and so shall it stand.
   I can go on and on.

ANY DISADVANTAGES?
yes there are also disadvantages of a woman being alone.

1. She is open for any man to talk to her anyhow he wants because they knows that she is alone.

2. She pays all her bills alone.

3. She is like a house without wall. That means no protection from any man.

4. The society may sometimes see her as a lose woman whenever she is seen around men.

And so on.

WAY FORWARD

1. let's encourage single ladies to be the best they can be.
2. Don't always disturb them with "your mate are all married, what are you still doing "
3. Show single ladies love and care.

While that will be all for this contest. Though there are still so many things to say.
