My little way of staying healthy mentally.

Mental health is wealth. I may not have enough words to explain this phrase, but I know that it's the truth. If you are healthy mentally, then you are healthy indeed, and every healthy mind is rich.

What is mental health? According to WHO (June 17, 2022). Mental health is a state of mental well-being that enables people to cope with the stresses of life, realize their abilities, learn well and work well, and contribute to their community. Now, this assertion is what made me say that when you are healthy mentally, then you are healthy.
You will agree with me that for one to learn well and work well, and also contribute to his or her community well, it means that he is well upstairs. In already developed countries, people patronize a psychologist, a counselor or even a therapist when they are going through depression or any kind of mental illness. But in a country where it is regarded as a waste of money and time, you see people die of depression and mental health related issues. I believe we need an orientation concerned mental health related issues.

Sincerely speaking, for me as a person, I believe it when they say "with all the madness going on in the world today" I don't know whether to say we or the world is actually going crazy. Things keep changing by the day and everything will still bounce back on us the humans. When you are trying to fix one another, another bigger problem shows up. When you are thinking that you have done something good, another thing comes up to show you that you haven't started. So, people run up and down every day to meet up and our health mentally is deteriorating. We are going down every day by the way and manner we want to handle things.

I HAVE FOUND A LITTLE SOLUTION AND IT HAS BEEN MY HELP.

We can't deny the fact that our health mentally is affected because of the madness in the world. But I believe that something can be done to help us on daily basis to put a check on our mental health. These are some of the exercise that I carry out to help my heart.

Sleeping when my body say enough: Sometimes it is possible for your body to be given you signal of rest. I do pay attention when I noticed that I can cope anymore. If my mind is filled up and needs to cool down a little, I will allow it rest by sleeping.

Hanging out with friends: This aspect too I don't joke with. When I started hiving the signs of depression. I will always look for a friend or two who May be available at that time, meet them and talk about my problems. Once I begin to share it with someone that I trust, the problem is half solve. Most times I do this part with my husband. He happened to be my best friend even before we got married, so, I feel very Free to share my problems with him.

I love watching movies: Most times I watch love movies or epic movies. Once I begin to watch movies I will be relaxed at that time. My husband something tries to get movies for me because he knows that I love relaxing with movie.

I also try to eat what I love must: I love taking snakes alot, so, when I feel like relaxing, I go get myself a very good snacks and a chilled drink to go with it.

Moving away from my environment for a while: Sometimes I also love going out of my environment to help me forget my worries. Anytime I feel like doing it, then no one will get me on the phone. I just switch off my phone to avoid receiving any call for that day, just my husband will know where I have gone to.

In summary, we can do lots of things to help calm us down when we noticed that we are going through some emotional stress. There are professionals also who can be of help. For me, I have not tried visiting a professional in this field probably because I have not faced any health challenge that will lead to that.

Sleeping is really a great way to protect your mental health. Also, hanging out with friends also helps creates a feel-good moment

Moving out from an environment causing our mental health is a big relief. In life, there are times we can't escape having mental instaibility but the way we approach it matters alot...your tips are nice... mental health should not be overlooked

It's great that your husband has become not only your partner but also your best friend. Having that level of comfort and trust with a loved one can make all the difference in navigating the ups and downs of life.

Sleeping and Watching Movie two things I do !LUV doing and can say those are good to keep mental health at Good condition.. nicely written!

Movies has helped me a lot as well, I either watch movie or play football. Anything you love to do for fun can help your mental health.
