My sister's traditional wedding. Celebrate her for me 🙏

I want this great community to help me celebrate my sister in Christ. Yesterday being the 13th of October was her traditional wedding. And Saturday which will be 15th October will be her church wedding. It was a great occasion. And we are still preparing for the Saturdays occasion.

I have known her for more than 10 years now and she has been like a younger sister to me all this while.

We started planning for her traditional wedding since two years ago. But because of the strike going on in the universities it was extended to this year. She had already promised herself that she was going to finish her degree in the university before getting married. So, when the strike was not ending, the wedding date was shifted to 2022. Though not having a particular date in mind. She just wrote her finally paper four months ago and also through with her project, then the wedding was set.

This type of wedding is only done in the house of the girls parents and that is the reason why we call it traditional wedding. The man will be asked to bring their traditional food Which will be used to serve the family of the lady food for that great occasion. The groom will still be asked to provide another food for the invited guest. But the traditional food is only meant for the ladies family.

This particular traditional wedding is so special to me, because of my relationship with the bride and also to the the groom. I know Both of them very well and so I see the wedding as the wedding of my family member.

We went there by 12 noon, and by 3 pm we were done already. Many people came to celebrate with them and we were also entertained very well.
