Hello friends in hive learners community. I am glad you made it back here again for another Weekly Featured Contest. Good to see you again. Please permit me to appreciate hive learners community MOD. They are actually making sure that we are doing fine. For me this contest every week make me go on research and at times ask people questions to get what to write. So, it has been challenging, and it has also helped in sharpening me the more.

For the contest this week we are to choose Talent Or Hardwork. Before we go on I will love to give a little definition from the dictionary to enable us have a good understanding of the topic I will be picking.

👉 What is Talent? It is defined by oxford dictionary as - A marked natural ability or skill. Talent or skill can take you far in life.

•  To be successful in any field, we must have one or the 
    other.
  

We have so many people who have been working hard all their lives but they never amount to anything in life. If you go to the market today, you will see a lot of hard working individual in so many field, but they have been working hard and most times, they end up eating like an ant, while they work like elephant.

TALENT WORKS FOR ME BETTER.
How do I mean by that. Talent means having a good skill that you can use. Check round and you will see and understand that most rich people don't really work hard. They just do it at the beginning, but before you know it, they have reached up to a level that they don't work hard, and some don't even do much, but the money keep flowing, because the person in charge have used his/her talent to put things in order and relax to eat their money. Most hard-working persons don't have the time to eat their money.

Though I know that sometimes, we need both talent and hard work to succeed in life. But if I am asked to make my choice, I would choose Talent. Because if I am to evaluate them based on percentage, I will give hardwork 30% and talent or skill 70%. I believe that I am entitled to my own opinion. That may not be another person's judgement. So, going by my judgement, talent will help one better to achieve success in life.

For me, I am a blogger, and most of the things that I do here is write and write. That alone is my God given talent. I love writing ever since before I came to know about hive Blockchain. Infact, writing is one of the things that motivated me to join hive and become a blogger. I love writing and each day that I did not write anything, I feel like someone who is sick. Before hiving, I have been making research on how to become a good writer. And my best field in writing is literally work. Like - fiction books and non - fiction books. But thank God that I came to hive, because it has sharpened my skill and help me to write every day of the week. I have also learnt alot here by going through the post of other bloggers. It has really helped me so much.

To crown it all, I am hoping to be a better writer. I believe that what I am today is just a shadow of what I will be tomorrow. Where I am today, is just a stepping stone to lead me to my destiny. I am still warming up. When I get started, the sky will not be able to limit me.
