Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is a public bank in the Philippines. It is owned by the Philippines Largest conglomerate. BPI is the oldest bank in the Philippines and in the Southeast Asia that is still in operation. It is the largest bank in terms of market capitalization and third in terms of assets. BPI pioneered rural banking in the country, it maintains a large branch of rural network, some of these branches started since the Spanish or American colonial period. There are total of 831 branches which makes BPI the largest branch network in the Philippines.
Also some awards were received by the bank from different financial magazines, like Euromoney, Far Eastern Economic Review, The Banker, Finance Asia, and Global Finance, the latest award that has been received was from Asiamoney. BPI was awarded in April 2010 as the Philippines’ Strongest Bank.

Very good service is provided to its customers.
