Entrepreneur and vacations: antinomic?

In summer season the best discussion topic is to plan a fair and charming energatic event.!

Most companies are idling, suppliers and collaborators are leaving and orders are scarce. We have seen and in survey most the business entrepreneurs are very shy and get stress regarding the new idea of break taking rest which they have not decided yet.

Of course, the entrepreneur's vacations are hardly comparable to those of employees. Because the business does not run on its own and you have to learn to let go or delegate if you are not alone. All this can be prepared and learned.

So, vacation or no vacation? For my part, the answer is unequivocal: vacation!
We all work to get good time and we need to get a break in between to get ourself recharge. Even in times of crisis. Because a change of scenery, having fun helps put things in perspective. And to get back to it more motivated than ever.

How long? Good question! It basically depends on your activity.

If you are alone and single you can slowly give your small responsibility to a good and energetic employees whom you trust most of the time. Is it true that you are a youthful business visionary or an old hiker with grounded schedules?

It seems that the average length of vacations for entrepreneurs is 1 to 2 weeks. For my part, I would tend to say that a 2-week break is probably more profitable, regardless of whether it implies leaving yourself working long periods of 1 or 2 hours, all together not to wind up suffocated and pushed when you continue. It's a human instinct you want to fing your own musicality and partake in your life in full excellence.. and I have seen that some persons take a whole week long break.

Either way, vacation or not, the downturn in activity in these summer months is a good time to reflect on the future of your business, and to plan and prepare for back to school.

Make the most of this holiday period.
