Dear Hivers

Even today, many entrepreneurs and SME managers view social media as a distraction from “serious” business. And yet

Big brands, like Coca Cola, have understood the leverage and amplification that social media can bring to their marketing strategy, by disseminating their ideas much faster, more widely and at less cost than they could. do it elsewhere.
Some SMEs have realized that they finally have free marketing tools to promote their business themselves. The democratic principles of marketing are ahead.

But, at the same time, many myths emerge that sow confusion and lead to disillusionment when return on investment does not or does not materialize quickly enough.

Myth # 1: it's easy

One of the first biggest media myth that it is very easy and can be done by nobb also.

However, whatever the size of your business, social media marketing requires many resources, skills and actions that must be created and put in place.

Here are a few:

Harvest, edit, film, photograph and capture content
Present it in a creative, entertaining, playful or inspiring way
Adapt it to different types of media: blog posts, tweets, Facebook updates, videos on YouTube, presentations on SlideShare, etc.
Check that the content posted by different employees respects your corporate vision and your brand image
Publish your content on the multiple networks frequented by your customers
Stream your content in a variety of formats and sizes so it looks good on any device
Our content should be Optimize with seo and engines.
A proper analysis is important to see what is going on in the market and what will work.
In addition, social networks dump a deluge of data on your business. Granted, there are tools like Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, and more to help you out, but they often add a layer of complexity and rarely offer a real overview.
