With your customers : Your customer base is a gold mine that should be put to good use. Well updated and segmented, it allows you to regularly inform people already committed to your cause. Enjoy it!
With your prospects : anyone interested in your business is likely either to become a customer one day or to recommend you to others. Don't neglect any track! Favor personalized contacts and targeted offers to develop your business. Take care of your network!
With your suppliers and partners : the world of work and commerce is increasingly collaborative, based on connections and influence. Don't underestimate this key aspect.
With your employees : Regardless of the size of your business, this aspect is absolutely critical. Your employees will be much more motivated and enthusiastic if they are convinced to make their contribution. Keep them up to date with the successes (and failures) of the business.Establish a climate of trust and friendliness, conducive to long-term commitment.
What are you communicating about?
About your products : This is the most classic form of commercial communication. Product launch, range extension, comparisons, etc. Of course, you have to talk about what you do, but a little originality is needed. So think: all of your competitors are doing exactly the same thing! So, if you don't want to be reduced to playing on prices, I suggest you think about some really innovative approaches.
About your brand: Your brand is a strong emotional signal that makes it possible (or not) to recognize you. Have you spent enough time developing it. Remember that the act of buying is often more emotional than rational, even in B2B. An example: the impact of colors and shapes even for construction machinery!
About your passion : nothing better to start a conversation than finding a common passion! How about approaching your prospecting from that angle? Tell your story. Talk about your passion for your job. You will become human again, and it is well known that men like to deal with men.
