Village Financial Unpleasant!

IMG20230526191036.jpg

I have recently been doing all kinds of traveling, including visiting several provinces in Cambodia. Unfortunately, this month I've had to work harder than ever before, as the economy in Cambodia isn't sustainable, especially in my village. I've noticed that my neighbors are in the same situation as me, some with families even a big family and struggling financially. I don't say it was interesting for me but for business life, to me that most people in my village use motorcycles for transportation is great because I sell gasoline and the road is busy in the morning but empty in the afternoon. To save time, I don't even cook my own food; instead, I order and pay for it online. I also end up having a few conversation with costumers, life in my village is not enjoyable due to financial struggles.

My family has decided to seek other job opportunities instead of working together because we realize we are not capable of handling it due to many reason. Fortunately, my son is now in his second year of university and has found a job, but the only setback is that he needs to schedule his work hours around his classes. Living in a rural area is not financially easy, but we are blessed nonetheless we can deal with it.

Well I have so many emotions right now. Unhappiness because of family financial and inspiration from book I can say reading help me alot. There was a diversity in working as a family small business. Right now the environment I live is just this small space room working for services.

The fact that she was too fast my daughter forgot to bring her history books. Soon as I see no costumers I grab the book and read it for a several pages, feel like it reminded me the good old time again.

Hello

Interesting post. People everywhere are seeing problems with the economy. The small village where I live in Issan, Thailand is the same. It may take time to recover, but I do believe it will.

I think you are on the right path. Making changes to adapt. Remember, and learn, from the past, but build for the future.

Regards

Richard Taylor

Oh Issan that sounds good. I am sure that my village will become a betterment soon as people here always find the deal.

Difficult times. I hope things go better for you and your family soon. What always helps for me to feel better, is long slow walks through nature.

Big hug!
