True, when I read "forever" I tend to think of the literal meaning, but most of us use it to just mean a long time.

Funny enough there are many instances where we confuse literal meanings with something else.
It doesn't help that we're speaking internationally here... On internet, some people communicate with a lack understanding of language, (or just use a translator.) Words meaning something in a country have different meaning elsewhere.
Whatever you say, you'll get misunderstood.

Very true, the language barrier adds another level of complexity to understanding. Didn't even think of that.
