FRAILTY (POB-WOTW)

Frailty is a state of weakness or a state of being fragile.
Frailty can come in different ways, but the most common weakness of man comes when they are not financially buoyant.
When a man has financial problem, it will be difficult for him to perform hid duties as husband in the house.

This remind me of a couple who stays behind my window when I was in school.

This couple loves theirselves so much that everybody loves the way they live their lives, they were blessed with three kids and everything was going on smoothly until the husband lost his job because the company he works for couldn’t afford to pay their staffs, so they decided to dismiss some of them. so he was unfortunate to be one of them.

The wife has not been supportive financially from start because she doesn’t work.
And ever since the husband lost his job peace has been a thing of the past in the family, they fought almost everyday just because the man couldn’t perform his duties anymore in the house.
They started chasing their kids from school because they couldn’t afford the school fees anymore.
Things had turned upside down.

One morning I was in my room so decided to look outside from my window, then I saw the husband sitting at the balcony crying bitterly.
No one was with him, so I decided to go and meet him. When I got there, I asked why he was crying, he couldn’t say a word then I started encouraging him. Then he asked “where am I going to start from”. I told him that it is never too late to start over again.

He started lamenting, I knew he was weak both physically and emotionally. Then I told him to start with any work at all without being choosy just to put food on his table. He thanked me and I went away.

But I kept checking on him every evening whenever I got back from class, I do spent some minutes with him before going back to my room, because I realize he needed someone to encourage him during the trying times. Anybody can misbehave whenever he or she is passing through hell so that’s why I kept visiting him.

So, a week later, I discovered his wife and kids weren’t around so asked after them and he said she had left to her mother’s place with the kids.
Then I told him to cease the opportunity to find work rather than sitting at home, he said okay and I left.

Few days later, he told me he has been following the bricklayer to work and they pay him everyday. I was happy for him.

Few months later, he got himself a motorcycle and he became a motorcycle rider.
And since then, things has been coming back to normal.
And the most interesting part is that his wife and kids were back to him before I left school.

So, no matter what your weakness may be, try working on yourself, encourage yourself and surround yourself with people because a trying time can be a delicate stage in human’s life. So, work on yourself in other to get back on the right track.

A trying time can be a delicate time in human’s life because I’ve seen a situation where a man committed suicide just because of what he was passing through.
So your current situation can be a weakness and it can be a delicate stage as well.
