Finding passion and getting unstuck

Finding passion.png

I have been involved with affiliate marketing for many years now.
Until recently when I got involved with the re launch of List Nerds I thought this was my passion. I do enjoy marketing and learning the ins and outs but I have realized I wasn't really following my passion. I kept putting it second because I thought I was doing what I needed to do.

Ok here is the truth.
My real passion is writing and producing music, I just kind of made it my second focus and then wondered why I never was successful at the online marketing.
I mean I really love it. Songwriting has been one the most important things to me since around 12 years old. You couldn't keep me away from my guitar.
Now after a full life I can realize this passion once and for all.
Why not , I am not getting any younger

List Nerds has helped me turn around. I have realized that I can focus more on music and still benefit from my marketing skills.
It is so awesome to see a safelist focused on passion.
There has turned out to be many passionate people on List Nerds.

I actually like to read mails at a safelist now.
I cant tell you how many thousands of emails I have read to get credits but it is an incredible amount. And most of them were the same old garbage that I always see.
I think I am to a point where I don't really want to read those kind of mails any more.

What a relief.

I can now spend more time talking about what I am passionate about and maybe even share my music with the world a little more.
The Hive blockchain has made it easier to do this. There is a group for every interest including music tribes.
I now know about how NFT's work and want to explore getting some of my music released this way.

I found Rising Star to be a great site because you can listen to NFT's right on the Radio show in the game, This is a great feature.
I am still exploring the many options but I think Rising Star could be a great place to start.

I will be focusing more on what I love and less about selling something.

So back to passion.

Has List Nerds impacted you the way it has for me?

I hope this has helped you find your passion a little bit more.

I am also struggling to decide on what to focus here on Hive. That got me stuck without producing any article for weeks. 😁
I am currently thinking on focusing on my main specialty while working on other things that an interested in on the sidelines.

I have been stuck also for weeks at a time. I try to show up and write as much as I can though.

Great post, @alente - I've seen you make the transition and I'm on a similar journey as are several other affiliate marketing "old hands." This is so much more fun, and more rewarding.

I'll probably continue with affiliate marketing on a handful of those other safelists, but it's likely that I'll increasingly use them to promote Listnerds...

Thanks I feel the same. List nerds seems like the obvious thing to promote.

Great article Tom. Im glad you have rediscovered your passion and focus. It looks like you can combine your skills and still work and focus on your passion.

I enjoy using ListNerds each day and the old-style off-chain marketing websites like Leadsleap don't seem a practical use of my time.

Thanks for sharing!

I so hope to see many more songs from you. Personally, I will stick to my two niches (Music and Crypto) for now on Listnerds....but I am challenging myself work on some other type of articles !CTP

I truly love to read posts like yours, where you have found the juxtaposition between what you truly want to do and a platform that promotes the awesomeness of that. Listnerds has been such a blessing, it provided that content discovery aspect that I didn't realize I was missing as well as motivated me to engage more than I was. I'm really thankful to have found a tribe full of such awesome, driven people, and I really am looking forward to seeing your journey progress.

Hope you are having a fabulous day!

There are so many things you can do on the Hive that you can't find anywhere else. I don't know how to decide either.
