Another part of my coin Stash - The double bass in gold

After a discussion with @trumpman, I decided to show you some parts of my coin collection. There are coins from all over the world, from different times.
I'll start with a collection that isn't complete yet because another coin will be minted this year. This is the German musical instruments made from gold collection.
The collection was started in 2018 and will last until 2023. It has a nominal value of €50 and will be minted in a series of 250000 pieces.
The minting places are Berlin - A, Munich - D, Stuttgart - F, Karlsruhe - G and Hamburg - J, which are identified by the letters mentioned.
The first coin is the double bass and was designed by Erich Ott. It weighs 7.78g, has a diameter of 22mm and is made of 24k gold.
On the front you can see the double bass and on the back the German eagle with the stars of Europe and the nominal value.
It comes with an additional pagedescribing the instrument and 4 stamps in mint condition showing the double bass. Two of them, from 1973 and 2013, come from the Federal Republic of Germany and two from 1971 and 1977 from the German Democratic Republic.

Auf der Vorderseite sieht man den Kontrabass und auf der Rückseite den Deutschen Adler mit den Europasterne und den Nominalwert.
Es kommt mit einer Folie, wo das Instrument beschrieben wird und noch 4 Briefmarken in Neuzustand, welchen den Kontrabass zeigen. Zwei davon, aus 1973 und 2013, kommen aus der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und zwei aus 1971 und 1977 aus der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik.

What a beautiful coin. It reminds me of when I was exchanging my Euros for dollars when I was planning to come home from Germany.
The bank I went to, had all of these coins available for sale, and I was surprised since we don't have that at our banks here in the US. If I'd had more time (had to get tovthe trainstation to catch my flight), I'm sure I would have picked something up.
This is a good reminder to me to think about getting back into coins.

I use as an investment form, where I put somewhere of 1% of my capital. It is a very good investment method against inflation.
There are some gems in currency now, also in Euros, where sometimes I find some San Marino coins and also in the US, where I got change some 16 years ago in silver quarters. :)

Sweet, I occasionally listen to Orchestral music to relax.
I don't have any German gold but a few common Silver commemorative coins from the 70s somewhere in my Stack.
I haven't gotten around to showing them yet.

You should. Probably they are from West Germany, as East was famous for stamps, not coins made of silver.
