Are you having fun?

Hi,

another post with no picture, just some random text coming out of my mind at a late hour.

I was thinking the other day, that since I've joined Steem Hive, a lot of things have changed in my life, some maybe into good, some maybe into bad.

When I joined, I joined for the money, crypto was just starting to grow in 2016, and I was left unemployed on the day before, so something needed to happen. I've done a search online and stumbled upon this blockchain.

Of course, I did not make any money at the start, and I gave up. After a few months, I said, let's give it another try, and managed to gain some cents. I've got hooked. I've seen some posts with thousands of USD as a value, and not all have been good, but who cared, there was a way.

Long story short, I started earning, but something changed, as I've started meeting people from the chain, people whom I would not ever meet else, as most people live in their own bubble and don't come outside it.

It starting being fun as I combined my daily travels with meeting people from the chain. Now I unwind a lot, as I'm kind of reluctant of new people, even if I know it is wrong.

Is it still fun, mostly yes, but also from my capitalistic world view, I'm happy to be earning some crypto from it.

I think I have here 5 things that I like from it, people, fun, earnings, scheduled grind and improving my terrible writing skills.

This is it for me. Would the earning disappear, I would probably leave, would I lose the fun, definitely would leave also.
