Bush - The Art of Survival

Hi,

today I've stumbled on one band that I enjoyed when I was young, BUSH. They brought last year a new album out, which is the 9th of the band.

I like that they are one of the last surviving grunge bands, and the sound still has something from that time in The Art of Survival album.

This album shows the maturity of the band, and overcomes the crisis from the 2002-2010. I had to listen to it today in full, and it was a pleasant surprise.

Most I like the ballad from this album, Creatures Of The Fire. It has a modern vibe and also the power voice of Gavin Rossdale

Yeah, I'm with you on this band Alex. I listened to two of the songs you shared, and they stuck pretty close to the roots of grunge.

I grew up with grunge, and although i had a very eclectic taste, nirvana were one out of five of my favourite bands. Others included bob marley & the wailers, rage against the machine and the prodigy.

I still can't believe i had a chance to get a ticket to see Nirvana in Manchester (uk) December 4th 1991, but i was flat broke at that time and even tho i tried every trick in the book to get (borrow) the money from my mum it wasn't to be.

Anyway, long story short i had to listen to my friends, who'd been to the concert, telling me how good it was for months afterwards 😂

I got my revenge back tho when i saw rage against the machine at Glastonbury festival in 1994 and only one of those people who saw nirvana were there with me 🤙😝

But I'm not bitter.... honestly 🙄😉

Three hours from now, I invite you to read my post about "Grunge Rock", my good friend @alexvan. Something's telling me you will find it interesting. By the way, this post of yours is amazing. Love BUSH all the way, specially their performance at Woodstock 99'.
