Refine Your Roster: Automate Better with Archmage Bot
Hello, everyone.
I describe below a method to refine the cards on your account for better results with automation using the Archmage Splinterlands bot.
You will follow two steps: remove low level cards and then apply card bans.
Remove Low Level Cards:
Firstly I removed all low level cards altogether and send them for use on Bronze or Silver league accounts.
This way, the bot is completely unable to choose a low level card that will almost always weaken a hand at higher leagues.
I left some low level cards behind in the account because they have key abilities or because they simply scale well into the late game.
The following is a list of those cards. They are not part of the Starter set. They are also all cards which I include in my Diamond account even though each is only a Level 1 copy (1BCX).

Apply Card Bans:
The second step is to ban the Starter cards that you can't send out of the account.
At the moment, the Starter cards are Untamed and Chaos Legion commons and rares.
After you have sent out all your low level cards, use the Cards screen to view your collection.
Select "All Cards" so that you can see both the cards you own and those that you do not.
Select Untamed and Chaos Legion commons and rares only.
Using the Archmage config form, apply bans to all commons and rares that you do not own.
This is best done manually, as each collection will differ in terms of what cards are owned and what are not, but I will provide a few lists below which may speed up the process.
