Getting Started with Official Chaos Legion Packs Sale

Another event for excitement is a but to start in less than hour time and as we all know that this is for official sale of Chaos Legion packs on splinterlands game. First was pre-sale and I did buy the maximum packs possible as I used all my vouchers tokens and now this once again voucher distribution will start. This time excitement is doubled as there will be 2x distribution as compared to the last sale which simply means I would be able to buy more packs. Who does not want to have more CL packs?

Each pack purchased during this phase of the sale will still require one VOUCHER token, not including bonus packs, just as in the presale, and a total of 2M VOUCHER tokens will be awarded to players with SPS tokens staked in their account over 30 days starting on December 8th, 2021 and ending on January 6th, 2022. The amount of VOUCHER tokens each account receives will be based on the amount of SPS tokens they have staked as a percentage of the total SPS tokens staked in the system.

This has already been announced by the splinterlands team about the VOUCHER tokens. Earlier it was for 1 million tokens and now its 2 million which will enable all SPS holders to get more tokens and that's not all because even after 30 days VOUCHER distribution will be on indefinitely.

Last time I did wait for 30 days so that I can accumulate all my voucher tokens and I did buy the 92 packs in total and including the bonus I got 106 packs in total. Since I own over 100 packs so I am expecting that this time I will be able to buy 200 packs.

The voucher token is trading at the price of $14.30 in hive-engine and it was almost double this price during the time of pre-sale. I expect the price to go up once the sale is live because then it will allow us to buy packs and its also possible that some people try to book profit.

I even checked the price for CL packs in hive-engine and the current price is almost $10 and in the hive, its about 5.5, and the majority of users are buying the tokens.

Buying through the sale will provide the benefit of bonus card which we can't get if buy from open market in hive-engine and I will first try to buy maximum possible with vouchers and I expect that I would get approx 300 packs in total. Buying through the sale is also making the buyer eligible for the airdrop and this could be a nice benefit because that airdropped card value I expect would be higher. My goal is to have 1000 CL packs and hold these packs for the long run.

I have missed the rally with untamed and Dice packs and nowadays price for these packs is so high and those who are holding are enjoying the price appreciation. I expect that CL packs wild also bring a similar opportunity if packs are held for a long time. Good thing is that airdrop will happen even if 2 million packs are not sold and this is great for sure.

My plan is to accumulate more voucher tokens is on and if I see an opportunity to buy more voucher tokens then I will try to grab it and if it happens then I move closer to my CL packs goal.
