Reviewing my SPS Goal.. How far I have come..

SPS is one of the tokens that I have been accumulating since the beginning and I will continue to do the same unless I reach my goal. The reason is simply that I believe in the project and there are so many people who share the same thought. Splinterlands is a solid play-to-earn game built on blockchain. Splintershards (SPS) is a governance token and comes with many benefits that I will also explain in the post. SPS airdrop is the biggest one so far that I have ever received and I want to make the best use of this opportunity. We have got a couple of opportunities in the part with SPS holding and the first one was to get a 10% discount on the purchase of Chaos Legion Packs. I did buy the packs in the sale and it was a very good deal that I had got with the discount and even a 10% bonus with my purchase.

So as of now, I hold 42k SPS tokens and my goal is to have 50k SPS tokens and I am short of approx 8k tokens and I am trying to make it happen before the airdrop ends. The current SPS airdrop has completed 303 days and is now left with 62 days out of 365 so I have this much time remaining to achieve the mark and I am trying my best to achieve it. While I get daily tokens throuhg airdrop, I also buy from the market and I was able to buy a good number of tokens at the price of $0.08 and now the price has increased again. I am getting a bit greedy here because I expect that price should come down a bit more so that I can get more tokens for the same amount and this is why I am waiting.

I expect that once airdrop ends then SPS price will increase and this is why I want to buy as much as I can so have it all staked in my account. I am also planning to join the SPS pool in polycub but I dont have MATIC tokens and this is why I am taking all the into the account. This is the time when I see many opportunities in terms of investment but a shortage of funds is now allowing me to do it all in one go. So now I am focused on SPS and later I will buy MATIC so that I can join the pool for better rewards on the SPS stake.

The current SPS apr is almost 54% and it includes the reward of SPS+voucher tokens and this is a solid reason to hold SPS. SPS validator node sale just happened today and has given a good dent in the supply of tokens through burn which is very good and surely a value addition in the token economy. There are many things planned with SPS and the team often shares an update about it in the town hall so I think that now is the good time to grab as many as SPS tokens possible because not sure if later we ever get this kind of opportunity.

I am happy to earn SPS and voucher tokens daily and I get approx 20 SPS and 2 voucher tokens daily which is good enough. The voucher price has increased now because of node sale and its more than 3.5 hives. I sold my voucher earlier and purchased SPS and even have the same plan to repeat. So for one voucher, I can get approx 18 SPS which is not bad.

I will closely monitor my SPS progress now until I reach 50k and once reached then I will see what I need to do next. I can either increase the goal if its feasible for me and if not then I will continue to stake all my earnings through the stake since airdrop will be stopped but my stake will continue to earn SPS.
