Splinterlands Roadmap brings more excitement in the Game

Splinterlands is well known for its innovative and creative development and they surprise the community many times. I have completed 2 years with this game and there have been multiple instances where things were full of excitement. Now they have shared the roadmap for this year and with this, I see a lot of things that are going to be live. A project must inform its users about the upcoming kinds of stuff and splinterlands is very much transparent. They always share the update with the community and ensure that this is done on time.

This week Agored has shared the roadmap for this year and its for 3 quarters. Its great to see that they are working on multiple things and Land is another stuff that they are equal focus on the same. The land is the most awaited thing in the game and even I have been waiting for this. I was expecting that in 2022 we are going to have it but it did not happen. Below is the roadmap for this year and we can see that multiple things are on the to-do list.

Land coming this year

The land is the big thing on the splinterlands roadmap and glad to see that now we are going to have it finally. There is no exact date but at least now we have a tentative period for this and its really good. I won some plots and waiting to see how I will be able to make the best use of them in the game. I bought the plots in the sale and at that time price was low. Later the price was increased but I did not sell because I expect that selling is not a good idea. I hope to get a great use case once its live and have no plan to sell off the plots. Now holding the plot is paying some SPS as a reward and its that something is coming out of it.

SPS Validator

I believe that after lands, SPS Validator is another great addition and its pre-sale was in mid of 2022. It has an important part of the overall ecosystem and its holders will support running the blockchain. As of now, more details are not shared yet about this hence not sure how this is going to work. I own one license as of now but the plan is to buy another one and my node license investment is for the long term.

I believe that in SPS token economy and with a license, we would be able to generate the coin which is going to be a great source of passive income. We should not look for the current SPS price because its temporary and has the potential to grow and reach back to its all-time high price. I had purchased the one at a higher price but now its available at a low price but I am short of funds. I will try to arrange the funds and buy once I have enough funds to buy the license.

Apart from Lands and SPS validator, there is a lot in the roadmap including- New cards, Runi, Guilds, and token economy, etc. As a surprise, we can also see some promotional cards sale in between but even if we exclude this then also there is a lot of development planned for this year. I already have the long-term strategy in the game but after going through the roadmap, I strongly believe that more people will be coming to the game and this will add more value to the game and its ecosystem.

Splinterlands is a leader in the segment and making blockchain gaming more fun and rewarding. It also gives people a solid option to enter play-to-earn games and in the next few years, we can see much more exciting. Every season is fun and I play it every day. Focus and season rewards are fun and investing in the game is something that gives us the opportunity to invest and grab the benefits.
