Started my NFT Journey with #PunksonHive

Hive fest is over and it was such a great event where got to see various hive project and their growth and achievement on the chain. During hive fest, there was nothing that was a hot topic during both the days and its Punk on Hive.

@punksonhive is an NFT project on the hive and they had 10000 punks in total and all this got sold out in 36 hours. I have never seen this kind of response before in any project but this is something that is fantastic and it shows the power of community. Hive community is powerful and we are capable of doing anything. Marky announced that he will increase the price after hive fest and its discounted during hive fest only but before it happens everything is sold out. It was selling so fast and I did buy all without any delay and I am happy with my decision that I did buy all I wanted to without delay. Sometimes taking action asap helps and this is one of those situations.

I never purchase any NFT and this is the first time I started my journey with this NFT project and I did buy 20 punks for 400 Hive yesterday. Since the system had some issues so I did not get NFT instantly and today I got all the NFTs in my gallery. Each card has some number known as rarity and to be honest I don't know much about it but I will expire more of it to understand better.

We can see details for each nft by clicking on details and there is also an option to set this as hive avatar. I can even see many people using this avatar but I am not going to do this because having more people with these graphics will be difficult to identity.

I don't know what factors in the NFT decide the price but I can see lots of sell orders placed in the market and the sell price is different. This is where I need to work on learning more and soon there will be an AMA on discord which I will try to join so that I can get more insight into the project.

It will be exciting to what gets unfolded in the future with these punks and I look forward to seeing it.
