5 Minute Freewrite: Single Prompt Option - Accidentally

Ike has a rice farm not too far away from his residence. He took time to plant improved variety of rice on it. After the planting he keeps an eye on the farm to monitor how the seedlings are faring.

Few months after the rice begins to flourish and even start to flower. This is the most important period for every rice farmer. You need to constantly visit the farm to scare away birds from sucking the nectar of the rice flowers. Most farmers use scarecrow to achieve this. Others use gun firing to scare the birds away. While most still use the archaic method of using catapults to scare the birds away too.

On this fateful day, Ike went to the farm with his dog. On reaching the farm Ike observed a beaver of bird resting on his rice farm humming sweet melodies and sucking the nectars away. He was alarmed. Even with his scarecrow, those birds did not mind, they were not deterred!!! Ike started shouting and running towards their direction, this is to scare the birds away. His dog Bingo ran after him and with the commotion in the rice farm the birds flew away!

Ike was somewhat relieved. Much damage had not been done to his rice. He started firing his catapult at some recalcitrant birds who were still perching around. Suddenly and from a distance he heard a heart wrenching cry of his dog Bingo. Ike's attention was divided at that moment. He left the birds alone and rushed towards the direction of the dog's pitiful cry. "Bingo bingo bingo", he called out. What's the problem darling"? Bingo kept crying even much louder this time having heard the commanding voice of the master. On getting there, Ike saw Bingo whining and grinding on the floor of the rice farm and causing most of the rice seedlings to bend. Ike became suspicious and then observed closely. "Ah, Bingo, you have mistakenly stepped on the booby trap set up for grass cutters by a hunter". What a shame!!!

Ike carefully extricated Bingo from the clutches of the booby trap and the dog whisked away, albeit in pains.
