Greetings to the players of the Splinterlands community as well as the different communities in the Hive Blockchain.

The latest Share Your Battle Challenge is about the Goblin Psychic. A common magic monster in the Earth type from the Chaos Legion Edition.

Thanks to this opportunity created weekly by the Splinterlands team , players were able to have fun while making a passive earning by simply being good at choosing proper strategies for specific rulesets. By completing and sharing these challenges, and using the rewards in the blockchain's transactions, the game at some point became more successful with the active players worldwide.

Here is my battle featuring the use of Goblin Psychic in battle.

RULESETS

  • Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor even from the abilities and summoners.
  • Explosive Weaponry: Monsters have the Blast Ability.
  • 28 mana summon.

BATTLE LINEUP STRATEGY

  • In this battle, I choose to go in using the magic type monsters so I decided to choose Obsidian as my summoner to increase the magic damage by +1.

  • First position is for the Failed Summoner. A common card in 5th level with a stats of 2 speed and 7 health. I choose it in the 1st position to counter the magic damage it will receive thanks to the reflect ability.

  • Second position is the Goblin Thief. A common melee damager in the 5th level with a stats of 3 melee damage, 3 speed, and 4 health. With the sneak ability, it will cause a damage to the last position monster of the enemy.

  • Third position is the Wood Nymph. A common magic monster in the 4th level with a stats of 1 magic damage, 3 speed and 3 health. With the tank heal ability, it will heal the first position monster.

  • Fourth position is the featured monster Goblin Psychic. Another common magic monster in the 5th level with a stats of 2 magic damage, 1 speed, and 5 health. It also has the tank heal ability leading to a double heal strategy for the first position monster. With the affliction ability, once the target receives this debuff, it can't heal itself or with the help of other monsters in the lineup.

  • Fifth position is the Mushroom Seer. A rare magic monster in the 4th level with a stats of 2 magic damage, 3 speed, and 4 health. The Silence ability reduces the magic damage of the opponent's enemy monsters.

  • Last position is the Earth Elemental. A rare range monster in the 4th level with a stats of 2 range damage, 2 speed and 6 health. The heal ability will make it heal itself after each round, making it a good sacrificial backline defense for this battle.

DID YOUR STRATEGY WORK?

My strategy in the battle worked efficiently. My lineup have the advantage in terms of speed which makes the Goblin Thief to instantly defeat the Spirit Druid Grog in the battle while inflicting damage to the enemy's target adjacent monsters thanks to the blast ability. The opponent chose to also main in magic damage but thanks to the ability of the Mushroom Seer, it reduces the magic damage which leads to my Failed Summoner to last a long time with the help of the tank heal abilities of the Wood Nymph and Goblin Psychic before it is finally defeated. Also, thanks to the Affliction ability of the Goblin Psychic, the Flesh Golem's Heal ability became invalid leading for my victory in the end.

DO YOU LIKE USING THE GOBIN PSYCHIC?

As a new player, Goblin Psychic will be one of the monsters that I will use in my future battles. The tank heal ability is pretty much good in an infinite or semi-infinite healing combination strategy with the Wood Nymph and Pelacor Mercenary in the higher battles depending on the rulesets.

What I like in this battle is that the monster advantage isn't just about choosing the monster with the highest possible damage, it's also about using the monsters with desirable abilities against your opponents in a respective ruleset that will win you in battles.
