The elderly men converged at the village market square to deliberate on the latest happening in the community that has given everybody sleepless nights; the desecration of the temple of Ulu by the overzealous youths.

After about two minutes of absolute silence, Eke stood up to speak. "We need to know the father of that rascal called Nana that led this unwarranted onslaught on our revered temple which has now brought us sufferings and pestilence ". The father should be made to pay for all the deaths and diseases ravaging us, for raising such an irresponsible son"!.

There were uproar and shouts of approval and disapproval from the gathered men at the square. It almost spiraled into a brawl. It took the intervention of Ichie Obikeme who stoop up and used his whole energy to quieten the vociferous crowd. He began: "gentlemen, please this apportioning of blames and counter blame is highly unnecessary. That is not the path we should tread. The problem is already here with us. We need solutions, not blames please".

Everyone listened with rapt attention as Ichie Obikeme continued to speak. He then suggested paying a visit to the great medicine man called Okeke (who incidentally lives across seven seas and forests) for divination and to proffer a lasting solution. Everybody agreed with him on that issue and three elderly men and 2 young men were there and then appointed to make the trip to see Okeke.

And with that the meeting was adjourned to await the outcome of the visit to Okeke, the great medicine man.
