Follow your passion and you might be surprised at the many new things it brings to you. I also get a lot of surprises from my activities to writing a blog about food.
In the past, I focused on writing life stories, especially books about family drama and romance. But as life changed, I choose a new genre that I never expected.
I am more focused on taking care of my mother, including preparing food for my family, it makes me more focused and consistent in writing about food. It doesn't matter what genre I'm writing in, as long as I'm still writing and keeping my writing passion active.
I find a lot of fun things in the process of preparing food, taking photos of food, and also writing about the food. It's not just about food. I actually get a lot of inspiration about the philosophy of life from the process I set up the food blog. It doesn't feel like 2018 until now, I want to continue to present the best from my food blog.
That's why I also regularly upgrade properties for food photography. I will share with you some of the products I bought through the online shop. Hopefully, there are new things that can inspire you. Stay tuned.
A Japanese Style Classic Plate
For the first, I unboxed the photo property products that I bought at an online shop called UP PHOTO STORE. I used to buy various photo properties here. Some plates as well as other properties such as cloth, and glasses that I have used in my food blog are the result of gifts from this shop.
This time I bought 3 products. One is a classic Japanese-style plate, and the other two are photo backgrounds.
UP PHOTO STORE is a trusted store and has many customers. I don't have to worry anymore about how they have packaged the products. Although the distance between this online store and the city where I live is an island apart, it doesn't matter at all because the various shopping experiences at this store are all good.
When these products arrived, there were two packages visible. One box is for a plate, and the other is a long tube for packing photo backgrounds s so they don't get damaged.
This is the packaging for a plate. Pretty neat, and plate safe. There is a warning of fragile items that it will make the delivery courier more careful so that the packaging is not slammed by them.
Then there is bubble wrap which is also quite thick. So that's to avoid the plate being scratched or broken.
If it breaks, we can also claim to the store for the process of asking for compensation, as long as we include an unboxing video to them, and also we have included the previous insurance costs.
I feel happy and super excited. A classic Japanese-style plate that I ordered I received is in good condition. Oh, how beautiful! I'm fascinated. It can't be denied. Are you also fascinated by this plate?
With a blue rhythm color, it will make the photos of my food more stunning. This can be an alternative for those of you who are bored to use solid white or black plates without a particular motif.
The size of this plate is 8 inches or 20x2cm. The price of this plate is RP 63,000 / $4.5. I think this price is quite affordable. With the quality of the ceramic material which is quite thick, as well as the beautiful design, it is a product that is worth buying.
Background Photos
Next, the products I bought were two background photos. Packaging using a tube. This, of course, is to avoid the background photo being dented.
In one tube, there are two background photos that I bought. One with a solid background, and the other with a motif resembling a cement wall.
For each background, there are two motifs. So each side has a different motif. It could be used for more variety.
For a solid version of the background photo, it has pink and blue colors. The use of this photo background will make the main object look sweeter and brighter.
In the last one, the cement-patterned background photos have two different motifs. The other side has a lighter cement pattern, while the other side has a darker cement pattern.
The use of cement-patterned background photos like this will bring a classic feel, with a dark mood. It will be suitable for exploring tone photos that are cold but still looks stunning.
Those were some of the products that I bought online at UP PHOTO STORE to upgrade my food photography equipment. I hope you guys enjoy some of these products.

I love the cement textured photographic background. It gives a completely different feel to food photography. Not to mention the plate, I love the color! I feel it gives an elegant touch to the photograph💜
