One of the greatest life lessons I have learnt is gratitude.

Gratitude is not just the feeling of appreciation or thankfulness for a good deed done for you.

But it is also the ability to be happy in sour situations. Where things are not going the way you planned, but trusting that whatever happens next is what is best.
Gratitude is a state of mind, where regret and resentment is absent.

Gratitude is accepting yourself first and the people around for who they are, not because they are without flaws but because they're the perfect description of human and that is authentic.

Gratitude is an attitude of grace, you are aware that you have the tendency to betray yourself and even others but it doesn't stop you from living. It makes you want to stay alive and be better, make your life worth living.

Gratitude is what life is all about. It all makes sense when you choose to see the good in every situation. The tricky part of it all is that it is a choice.

Choose to live a life of gratitude today and make your stay on earth worth it.
Like Mae West said " you only live once. But if you do it right, once is enough.

Gratitude is a decision of each one of us, to begin to open our eyes to see the blessings we have every day even if they are sour situations as you describe in your writing.
Being grateful is what I call a lifestyle...to be grateful for the good and the not so good...without complaining. This raises our vibration so it leads to a healthier life.
