Since joining Hive I've been wondering if people have multiple accounts or if that is something that is sneered at, so your post just answered that one!
Not sure if this if for me, but it's an interesting concept.
Would one have to transfer from their main account to the new one?
And is the "Delegate" option under HP in the wallet used for that?

Yeah, you can delegate or you can transfer. Delegation is probably safer in case you screw up you still hold the tokens. It's not frowned on at all. Some people have ten or more accounts. The only time it gets shady is if you are tag abusing or taking advantage of the rewards pool. For example if you had five accounts and you were posting five times per day from each account and then sending all the rewards to another account and cashing them out, then that would be bad yes.
