Ctrl +S saves the day

I have been working on this old computer of mine.
It takes forever to start and shut down.
It is slow but still it works and more or less my lifeline.
I do not know what I would do without it.
The only thing that bothers me about the system is that it hangs randomly.

The reset button comes in handy

In such a cases the only thing one can do is hit the reset button.

The chronology of events

The other day I was working on this long project and I had done a lot of work and a little remained.
Every time I hit the floppy icon to save an hour glass would appear and the computer would stop responding so I was trying to avoid taking this step.
However at that moment almost like guided by a premonition I pressed the Ctrl+ S keys which is the method to trigger the save option.
The hour glass appeared for a while and then it took longer then usual to come back.
Out of no reason it hung again and I did not know what to do.

just then the electricity dipped and the system got reset as it is a desktop with no power backup.
Luckily it saved the day fr me and my data was saved.

This was a time to take a break

So taking the cue I went out and decided to go for a little jog to refresh my tired limbs and mind.
