This post is the personal opinion written by me from the results of brutal thinking of mine and it probably become a not logic one or unacceptable common sense in sportsmanship. However, I am free to argue after thinking brutally about the 2022 World Cup Qualifiers that have been playing in Europe.

Rationale

The football competition in the European League is so busy every season. The players must play twice a week to compete in local competitions such as the English Premier League, La Liga in Spain, Bundeslegue in German, Ligue 1 in French, Serie A in Italy and Eradivise in Dutch. Especially in the 2020-2021 season, which is currently the world still being attacked by the Covid-19 Pandemic. Off course, the rules to obey the health protocol are very strict for the players. The players who play football for big European League clubs that must play more games in the European Champions League and the European League. In addition, the national players of various countries must also attend the call as national team players for the 2022 World Cup qualification. Will these players harm the clubs where they play football?

Therea are some biggest football clubs Europe such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayer Muenchen, Borussia Dortmund, Inter Milan, Juventus, AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Ajax Amsterdam , PSV Endoven, and several other big clubs, when the World Cup qualifiers take place some of the good players they have will definitely be called up to the national team. This of course will have a big impact on their performance at the club when they return from a World Cup qualifier. The players are still tired because they are not physically fit. Meanwhile, their energy is needed by the club where they work.

The existence of this world qualifying match makes all match schedules in the major European leagues have to be compacted. The clubs have to play more than two times every week and of course the players have to always be in shape.

European League Competition Schedule Starting September 2021 Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic

The football competition in the Europe League in the 2020/2021 season starts in September 2021 due to the influence of the Corona Pandemic. Usually, the competitions in the Europe League start in August every year. This season all football clubs in Europe cannot avoid the situation in times of pandemic. This has consequences for the fitness of the players. They also have to always maintain their fitness every day. The efforts of the players to maintain their fitness are through routine training schedules every day and consuming foods that are good for their bodies.

UEFA Added More World Cup Qualification Schedule For European Countries

Players are required by their countries to play in World Cup qualifying matches. This adds to the busy hours the players play because their schedules with their clubs are already busy. And it is unfortunate that it turns out that the European football body, UEFA, has also increased the match schedule from two matches to three. This is something that is very detrimental to the big clubs in the Europa League. Their players have to play for their respective countries because it is their duty towards that country.

In my opinion, the addition of playing schedules in the World Cup Qualifiers or international breaks included in the FIFA calendar is one of the causes of decreased player fitness. The players will be very tired and some of them will suffer injuries while playing for their country. It is a risk for the players and also a big problem for their club in the Europa League.

.

Losses for European clubs

It is normal for some Europa League clubs to object to allowing their players to play for the national team in the qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup last week. This is due to the tight schedule of clubs playing in the league and also the European Champions Cup or European League.

The Corona Virus pandemic, which is still ongoing in the world, especially in Europe, has made the club anxious. Players can contract the Corona Virus because they play with players from other countries. If there is one of their players who is attacked by Corona, then this is a form of loss for the club. UEFA will definitely prohibit the club from playing in the domestic league and the European Champions League if one of their players is attacked by the Corona Virus.

That is my opinion regarding the World Cup qualifying matches in Europe which reduce the fitness of the players and also harm clubs in Europe.

I N D O N E S I A

Jadwal Kompetisi Liga Eropa Dimulai September 2021 Karena Pandemi Covid-19

Pembagiaan Grup Kualifikasi Piala Dunia 2022 - Negara Eropa

Group A: Portugal, Serbia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Azerbaijan
Group B: Spain, Sweden, Greece, Georgia, Kosovo
Group C: Italy, Switzerland, Northern Ireland, Bulgaria, Lithuania
Group D: France, Ukraine, Finland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan
Group E: Belgium, Wales, Czech Republic, Belarus, Estonia
Group F: Denmark, Austria, Scotland, Israel, Faroe Islands, Moldova
Group G: Netherlands, Turkey, Norway, Montenegro, Latvia, Gibraltar
Group H: Croatia, Slovakia, Russia, Slovenia, Cyprus, Malta
Group I: England, Poland, Hungary, Albania, Andorra, San Marino
Group J: Germany, Romania, Iceland, North Macedonia, Armenia, Liechtenstein

Jadwal Kualifikasi Piala Dunia Untuk Zona Eropa Ditambah UEFA

Kerugian Bagi Klub Eropa
