Weekly Win Notes - Splinterlands Scavo Firebolt Challenge
After a short break, the Archmage entry to the Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge is back. This week's battles are on the Scavo Firebolt from Fire Splinter. Some Overall Impressions on the card are followed by a brief written commentary on each battle.
The Scavo Firebolt doesn't get Knockout until level 6, but that hardly matters, as the stats on the card make it worthwhile before then. It functions well in Back to Basics rules, and it combos well with Yodin Zaku. A nice Rare from Chaos Legion to throw into some battles and level up.
Level 2 Tarsa goes up against Level 2 Thaddius Brood. Alongside the Spark Pixies, Scavo Firebolt is very effective here under Back to Basics rules.
Level 1 Yodin Zaku plays Level 2 Thaddius Brood. Ranged monsters thrive under Yodin, and here we see the Firebolt go to work on some very expensive Legendaries. Back to Basics rules again is notable.
This battle doesn't have a Scavo Firebolt in it at all. In this battle I am beaten in a Water Splinter mirror. That's right. You can chuckle.
Level 3 Tarsa battles Level 5 Alric. Exploding Rats go wild in Super Sneak rules! Also a Firebolt.
Level 1 Yodin Zaku outperforms Level 3 Bortus. Too much Blast Ranged Attack from the back-lines. And a miss to add insult to injury.
Thanks to the following people for submitting battles.
Each week the Splinterlands Weekly Battle Challenge is shared in the Archmage Discord. Submit your battles which feature their highlighted card in our #battleground channel. The first person to share a relevant battle each week wins a spot prize.
