One day, a man was walking down the street when he saw a cat with a leash on, walking towards him. The man was surprised to see a cat on a leash and asked the woman walking the cat, "Excuse me, why is your cat on a leash?"

The woman replied, "Oh, my cat loves to go for walks just like a dog! In fact, she even knows how to fetch!"

The man was intrigued and asked, "Really? Can I see her in action?"

The woman agreed and threw a stick across the street. To the man's amazement, the cat ran after the stick, picked it up with her mouth, and brought it back to the woman.

The woman smiled and said, "I'm glad you like her. She's not for sale though, she's my one and only cat!"

The man laughed and said, "No worries, I'll just have to find a cat as talented as yours!"

He decided to adopt a cat of his own and spent months searching for the perfect feline companion. Finally, he found a cat that he thought would be just as talented as the one he had seen on the street.

Excitedly, the man brought the cat home and tried to teach her how to fetch. But no matter what he did, the cat just wasn't interested. She would look at the stick, look at the man, and then walk away.
