Three movies that inspire me | Girl Power on Movies [Esp/Eng]
No sé si para muchos en la blockchain o sólo para las personas que me conocen más afondo dentro de la misma pero no es un secreto lo mucho que amo las películas y las series entonces no pude perder la oportunidad de enseñarles a todos ustedes las tres películas que más me inspiran, las mismas las puedo volver a ver muchas veces y siento que es como la primera vez ¡Comencemos la lista!
I don't know if for many in the blockchain or just for the people who know me best in the blockchain but it's no secret how much I love movies and series so I couldn't miss the opportunity to show you all the three movies that inspire me the most, I can re-watch them many times and I feel like it's like the first time. Let's start the list!
1. Miss Sloane
El lobby en EEUU es una profesión tenaz porque se trata de ser un grupo que ejerza algo parecido a una campaña política desmedida la cual, para una buena cantidad de personas, puede parecer algo bastante "loco" el hecho de que una mujer pueda llevar el liderazgo y tener tanta influencia como Miss Sloane lo cual hace que ella vaya poco a poco orquestando un plan para que todo salga como ella misma lo quiere y todos actúan en su obra sin darse cuenta.
Lobbying in the US is a tenacious profession because it is about being a group that exercises something akin to an over-the-top political campaign which, to a good number of people, can seem rather "crazy" that a woman can lead and have as much influence as Miss Sloane which makes her slowly orchestrate a plan so that everything goes her way and everyone acts on her work without realizing it.
A pesar de que Elizabeth Sloane es un aparente personaje ficticio, está basado en miles de mujeres aguerridas que trabajan en el cabildeo día a día en EEUU y en todas las partes del mundo, siento que tener esa tenacidad y decisión para afrontar un movimiento político tan fuerte en un país tan grande es algo casi heroico y me siento representada como mujer debido a que, este o no a favor de los movimientos que ellas apoyen, estos puestos casi siempre han sido de hombres y el hecho de nosotras ya tener igualdad de oportunidades (en cierto sentido) me es inspirador. Adicional a todo lo anterior, también me encanta el hecho de cómo es el personaje de Sloane, de cómo Jessica logró construirlo de la nada para lograr parecer un ser desmedido y sin sentimientos pero luchando por un bien común para todos. Les recomiendo verla, dura poco más de 2 horas pero son los más de 120 minutos más intensos que puedan vivir y se inspirarán sí o sí.
Even though Elizabeth Sloane is an apparent fictional character, it is based on thousands of hard-working women who work in lobbying every day in the US and all over the world, I feel that having that tenacity and determination to face such a strong political movement in such a big country is almost heroic and I feel represented as a woman because, whether or not I am in favor of the movements they support, these positions have almost always been for men and the fact that we already have equal opportunities (in a sense) is inspiring to me. In addition to all of the above, I also love the fact of how Sloane's character is, how Jessica managed to build him from nothing to look like a being without feelings but fighting for the common good for all. I recommend you to watch it, it lasts a little over 2 hours but it is the most intense 120 minutes you can live and you will be inspired.
2. The Founder
Hay películas como El Lobo de Wall Street que inspiran a muchísimos emprendedores a salir adelante y siempre mirar hacia el horizonte por allí está lo que se quiere lograr pero luego está esta grandiosa película basada en un hecho real de algo que sí sucedió, Ray Kroc poco a poco se hizo con el nombre de lo que hoy todos conocemos como los más famosos arcos dorados del mundo y con el nombre del restaurante más épico de todos pero, ¿Cómo lo hizo? ¡Debes ver esta película!
There are movies like The Wolf of Wall Street that inspire so many entrepreneurs to get ahead and always look to the horizon for what they want to achieve but then there is this great movie based on a true story of something that did happen, Ray Kroc slowly got the name of what we all know today as the most famous golden arches in the world and the name of the most epic restaurant of all but how did he do it? You must see this movie!
¿Qué me inspira? Las frases usadas en el trailer podrás ver qué es lo que más me inspira de esta película y sé que ustedes sentirán lo mismo al verla porque Ray Kroc es uno de los que me han inspirado a siempre usar la frase "Insistir, persistir y resistir pero nunca desistir" debido que él nunca se dio por vencido. El actor Michael Keaton hace el papel espectacularmente y todos los demás integrantes del staff de actores por igual pero la tenacidad demostrada por Keaton para este papel es el que me enganchó desde el inicio. Son los más de 120 minutos que puedo aprovechar para ver cuando siento que perdí inspiración, perdí mi norte.
What inspires me? The phrases used in the trailer you can see what inspires me the most about this movie and I know you will feel the same when you see it because Ray Kroc is one of those who have inspired me to always use the phrase "persist, persist and resist but never give up" because he never gave up. Actor Michael Keaton plays the role spectacularly and all the other cast members equally but the tenacity shown by Keaton for this role is what hooked me from the start. It's the 120+ minutes that I can take advantage of watching when I feel like I've lost inspiration, lost my bearings.
3. Joy
Sí, otra película basada en hechos reales. Sí, otra película donde una mujer es la protagonista. Sí, otra mujer MUY aguerrida, MUY tenaz pero sobre todo, MUY capaz de comerse al mundo y lo hizo. Joy Mangano existe (acá les dejo su articulo en Wikipedia) y es una empresaria estadounidense que como muchos otros, comenzó desde abajo y consiguió la gloria. Le costó muchísimas noches en vela, mucho esfuerzo, separarse de la familia pero les garantizo que valió la pena para ella y sé que te inspirara esta película tanto como a mí porque, además de ser un hecho real, me sentí identificada con su lucha porque hoy en día siento que estoy en esa parte de su vida en la que le va mal pero viendo cómo evoluciona todo poco a poco en pro de que todo despegue. Esta película no era lo que esperaba cuando la elegí para verla en esa oportunidad en el cine y ahora no puedo dejar de verla para inspirarme, así como las dos anteriores que nombré.
Yes, another film based on real events. Yes, another movie where a woman is the main character. Yes, another VERY feisty woman, VERY tenacious but above all, VERY capable of eating the world and she did it. Joy Mangano exists (here is her Wikipedia article) and she is an American businesswoman who, like many others, started from the bottom and made it to the top. It took her a lot of sleepless nights, a lot of effort, a lot of separation from her family but I guarantee it was worth it for her and I know that this movie will inspire you as much as it did me because, besides being a true story, I felt identified with her struggle because today I feel that I am in that part of her life where she is doing badly but seeing how everything evolves little by little in order to get everything off the ground. This movie was not what I expected when I chose to see it at that time in the cinema and now I can't stop watching it to inspire me, as well as the two previous ones I mentioned.
Bonus track: Erin Brockovich
Como tres me parecieron muy poco y esta película no se podía quedar por fuera, acá se las traje como Bonus Track y es que, ¿Quién no recuerda una de las primeras películas de emprendedores que salieron en el cine? Esta película es épica porque te demuestra a una Erin (que sí existe en la vida real) como una mujer que podríamos decir que es convencional luchando por algo más que el beneficio propio (porque al final sí gano bastante dinero) si no luchando por un bien común de una gran comunidad muy afectada por la contaminación del agua. No hay mucho que pueda agregar a la excelente actuación de la sonrisa de America, nuestra querida Julia Roberts, que no se dijera ya pues su desempeño en este papel no deja cabida a pensar que lo hizo mal. Me inspira por el mismo motivo que todas las anteriores pero principalmente porque es una mujer luchando contra el sistema y lo logró.
As three seemed to me too little and this film could not be left out, I brought them here as a Bonus Track and who does not remember one of the first films of entrepreneurs who came out in the cinema? This movie is epic because it shows you Erin (who does exist in real life) as a woman who we could say is conventional fighting for something more than her own benefit (because in the end she does make a lot of money) but fighting for the common good of a large community affected by water pollution. There is not much I can add to the excellent performance of America's Smile, our beloved Julia Roberts, that has not already been said as her performance in this role leaves no room to think she did it wrong. She inspires me for the same reason as all the previous ones but mainly because she is a woman fighting against the system and she succeeded.

Yes, indeed at that time Erin was HIGHLY promoted and Julia even won an Oscars for that movie. All the other movies are a bit more recent but are just as good and Oscar-worthy as Erin's.
EL FUNDADOR, es de esas películas donde te quedas pensando en voz alta; por qué no se me ocurrió a mi!. P quizás vayas más lejos y digas estos perdieron la oportunidad de sus vidas... En fin te deja mucho que pensar pero también mucho de que aprender.
Ray Croc fue un hombre que no pedía permiso para lograr sus metas o sueños y a pesar que en la película lo muestran un poco como el malo por algunas cosas que hizo, la verdad que para mi es un visionario que vio más allá de lo que tenía frente a sus ojos y busco la manera de hacerlo real.
El mundo siempre nos dará oportunidades solo debemos estar en el lugar correcto y con los ojos bien abiertos. Los más importante nunca tenerle miedo al éxito.

Ray Croc es un personaje en sí mismo, amigo. Ese hombre le insistió tanto al universo que el universo le lanzó la oportunidad de oro en la cara y él poco a poco la fue aprovechando, también es que le puso a las personas correctas en el camino para poder potenciar esa oportunidad y lograr lo que logró.
Si te gustó esa, te recomiendo entonces que veas Miss Sloane, es una película que no tiene desperdicio alguno y es excelente de principio a fin. Tendrás un amor/odio por Elizabeth nada normal y al final la amarás con locura.

STOPExcelentes todas las películas de tu post. The Founder me gusto muchísimo y la actuación de Keaton fue genial. Aunque todavía hay cierta polémica por la forma en que apodero de la marca, muchos de esa gente exitosa han tenido que ser fieras a la hora de hacer negocios.Yo no tengo esa malicia, por eso soy pobre. :( El Lobo de Wall Street también esta basado en un hecho real, en la vida de Jordan Belfort, otro tiburón de las finanzas. También me gustan las películas con personajes femeninos aguerridos, fuertes. Julia Robets se la comió interpretando a Erin Brockovich, no la pude ver en el cine, la vi un tiempo después de su estreno en un DVD. De Chastain veo hasta las malas pelis que ha hecho (ella me fascina.) la ultima que vi fue tan mala que no recuerdo su nombre (hace de asesina) pero Miss Sloane es muy buena.Saludos y éxitos !
Miss Sloane y Moly's Game son dos de las que me encantan de ella. La que se llama más o menos La Esposa del Cuidador del Zoo (no recuerdo el nombre exacto) también es una película buena y con buena actuación de su parte.
Sí, debe haber aún mucha polémica por cómo Croc se hizo con la empresa, sin embargo y cómo tú dices, esas personas se plantearon fuertemente el ser unos propios shark tanks y conquistar al mundo, y lo lograron.
Julia se lució increíblemente en ese papel, es uno de los pocos que me gusta muchísimo de ella. Otra que me gusta mucho, también basado en una historia real pero totalmente distinto el tema, es Comer, Rezar, Amar, no sé si la has visto.
