Splinterlands | Trying Out The Quest Potion

Splinterlands Daily Quests

If there is one thing I try to be consistent about playing Splinterlands, that is to complete the daily quests. I used to play my a*s off last year to get to the Diamond League at least, but I laid down since the introduction of the tier system based on collection value.

That kind of discouraged me to play and since then I would only come by the game to finish the daily quests, on days that would be enough to bring me to my max league tier (Silver III). Normally, two or three daily quests would bring me there, and I would stop playing.

Quest Potion

However, sometimes (or most of the time?!) loot chests could be frustrating. Playing for several battles and getting only potions or a few DEC's would just let me go, meh! "All that effort for potions?!"

Potions! Potions!

Playing daily quests on Silver III, getting two chests, and to be rewarded with only potions... arrrghhhh!!! I can't even make any use of them because there aren't any packs for me to open...

So I decided to take a gamble with potions!

Before completing my daily quest, I bought one Quest Potion, worth 750 Credits/ DEC ($0.75).

The quest potion shall give you additional 5 chests upon completion of the daily quest.

Is It Worth It?

I recently completed a daily quest while on Silver III. There are two chest rewards and additional 5 chests.

Time to open the chest...

Tadaaaa!

I got two Epic Fire Cards - Pyromancer valued at $7.00 (burn value: 700 DEC)

Well, if only the majority weren't potions! LOL.

All in all, I would say that it was a still a decent reward considering the amount of DEC I paid for it.

Will I do it again? Maybe, but not for every quest.

Hi Tabs1250! I'm glad you appreciated my post. I think quest postion is like a gamble. Lol. But so far, to those I've seen, they have gotten more value from it.

You can refer my post, no probs!

I bought the 10 quest potions for $7.50 because I wanted to try it and all of the sudden I'm reading posts about quests. Funny how that works lol. Im a week into game play and don't see myself getting past bronze any time soon so I wanted the extra chests just to have fun. I have to admit, it's fun to open those things.

Oh yes. I remember when last year we would even make season loot chest opening like a family activity. 😅 My husband, my eldest son and I all play and we would compare our loots. Hehe
