HCBC GOES TO SERENITY
After our successful collaboration with Chef Kristel, the Hive Cebu Bloggers Community (@hivecebubloggers) got invited to the opening of Liel's Tali Town with a cafe, kids playground, a swimming pool, a mini-golf course, and a hobbit house for accommodation. Liel's Tali Town is just one of the many attractions you can find at Serenity Farm and Resort in Busay.
When we arrived, one thing I noticed was the temperature, it was very chill. One of the many perks if you live on the upper side of the island. We were welcomed by the owner and the person who managed the place. We were led to the hobbit house. During our visit, it was still under construction but it was already close to the finish. We took some photos in the area.
We then went to the main attraction of Liel's Tali Town which was the Mini-Golf Course. This one is something I was excited to try. When we were kids, we found some golf balls in our house and sometimes we pretend we are playing golf and use any stick or wood we could find as long it could hit the ball. This experience was the closest thing to an actual golf course. It was fun because there is a twist in this game. Before hitting the ball, the player will have to spin and whatever instruction it'll point out, the player should follow it.
As mentioned, aside from the golf course, the place also has a swimming pool which was by the end of the golf course and the kid's playground. There are so many fun activities you and your friends or family could enjoy in this place. We sure did have fun during our visit but it would have been more fun if we brought swimwear.hahahhaha
Right after we finished exploring the golf course and the entire place, the food was served. It was boodle themed and they also have some other dishes available. We were served a platter of food which was a lot, literally a lot. We were all surprised by its price which was Pph 1,599 or around 32USD. I can tell that it is very worth it. The price, the taste the portion was good enough for many people. The cafe was generous enough to serve us coffee, brick fired oven pizzas, and many more.
This activity also serve as the first meet-up with @tanawabai to the members of HCBC since he onboarded and it was also our 5 months together as a community.
Overall, the experience was something worth sharing. During our dinner, we were talking already of having our Hive Meet-ups soon or maybe a get-together with our family and friends. Liel's Tali Town of Serenity Farms and Resort is a perfect place to go for a day trip with your loved ones. With the amount activities you can enjoy there, it is very worth it. Omg!the place looks fun. You give me idea where to bring my little nephew soon when the kids allowed to go out. also I will make sure go bring swimwear like you said you should have brought one. The food is a lot and definitely worth the price. By looking at it makes me hungry but too early for me to eat lunch now. Hahaha. Happy 5th anniversary to HCBC. I miss all the girls in the pictures but also you. Glad you guys having fun and enjoyed the place. I look forward for the hobbit house when its done, I can see a little new zealand. Hehe.
