This ASEAN Hiver brings a lot of value to our community through his content and his engagement in the community. However, neither one of these things are the reason I am choosing him as the first ever "ASEAN Hiver Of The Week."
@gabe.radke recently upped his delegation to a massive 3,500HP, and that kind of support isn't taken lightly by me. I've put massive efforts into growing this community despite not having exterior whale curation support, and every single HP delegated to the @asean.hive curation account has come at grassroots level free of HIVE politics.

Look who's sitting at the top of the delegation ladder now, the one and only @gabe.radke. It is now I feel I should mention that delegations are not required to support this community nor be a featured "ASEAN Hiver Of The Week," but any delegation no matter how big or small is welcomed and highly valued.
I used to think our lack of voting/curation power would deter folks from posting within this awesome community, but I think it's actually been our saving grace. I've seen many communities on this blockchain crumble and/or become very diluted to Hive politics, tag abuse, plagiarism, and many other problems.
There are many high-rep Hivers in our community who could easily earn more posting rewards elsewhere, and yet they choose to consistently post within the ASEAN Hive Community. @gabe.radke is one of these Hivers, and it doesn't go unnoticed that he chooses to make this place his posting basecamp for the Hive Blockchain.

Happy to do so man and what a delight it is to be featured like this. I think you started a great community here and is where I spend most of my time on Hive. I don't always have time to peruse all the postings, so I figured that my HP would be better off in the community's hands.
I encourage others out there to do the same. We're all in this together!

not trying to 1-up you but @gabe.radke I just realized that I am not utilizing my HP to the fullest and would like to improve upon that. You have inspired me to make a substantially larger delegation and i want you to understand that this is not a slight or me trying to insult you in any way. I just think that this community is a good one and if it weren't for your actions and @justinparke s post I wouldn't have realized that now might be the time to make a move.
So thank you to you both and I hope that it can be put to good use.
Well, I'm honored to think this post may have spurred something on, but it seems like dominoes. You guys have motivated my wife and I to up our delegations too, and pretty soon we'll be able to send Southeast Asian content higher up the trending feed.
