Rising as a Star - Week 1

A week ago I have started my little challenge of playing and rising the ranks in Rasing Star. The biggest hurdle I put on myself is that I am not able to use external funds to boost my progress, so all Starbits have to be earned in the game.

So far the game is good. I have gathered around 6k5 Starbits. TO keep it safe, and maybe earn sth extra I have put them into the "Record Staking", however, the amount of 1k per record is not giving any yield. As you can see I am trying to get them all out and relocate all 6k into one record in hope that if it sells I will earn some Starbits extra.

I am using Rekord Staking to keep Starbits safe until I gather enough to buy my first card, which is the "50 Fan". I see that without a fan the grind is very slow and painful. I need around 20k Starbits to buy 50 funs. My next purchase will be a pizza box to allow me to collect all cold pizzas and give me a little bit of control over the game, as for now it is very random and based on luck. A few times I had enough drunk fans to get the better paying gig but I was out of energy.

Great to see you playing Rising Star, I am too much of a novice to give you any advice about it, but it's a nice game.

Congrats on your progress so far! I have been playing for a few months and love the game. It’s got a great community around it as well! Discord and Twitch are very active with players.

One tip, your starbits will be better spent on a People card to boost your fans (and skill, possibly, which isn’t so important yet). With your 6500, you could already get around 100 fans.

I will check people card. I have changed the plan to get pizza box to maximise the chances of running better gigs when I have drunken fans, as often I got the fans and run out of energy.

I have found out, that you need to refresh the collection to see it immediately. Now see the increased number of fans from my new card.

You can only pick one person to display as your busker, but you can have an unlimited number of People cards (unlimited for each person) -- and those cards stack to give you a grand total of fans, skill, luck, and IM (income modifier).
