STARTING OVER AT THE GYM - FITNESS JOURNEY 2.0
I finally went to the gym!!!
I havent been in months. I started three days ago with general body workout and some aerobics. It was emotional as I have so longed for this moment. Two days ago I trained legs. With minimal weight of course. I have to gently ease back into my fitness journey to avoid hurting myself. However, I’m currently on fire. I can barely walk and I don’t know how I’m going to exercise today(read yesterday) or even walk to the gym today. It feels crazy.

UPDATE:

It is 18:53 and I’m currently at the gym. Yup! I made it. My legs hurt less. I did 15 mins run on the treadmill. Going from a speed of six to 10. Currently sweating profusely as I work on my back and shoulders. I will also do some abdominals.

Hi. It is 00:20. I couldn’t keep updating while I was at the gym. The business got quite intense and called for complete focus.
I ended up doing a full body work out. Some of them involved the legs. Mind you, my thighs are already gone in severe pain. The trainer got involved so, I decided to do his routine.

Tomorrow is leg day. Yay! I love leg day. As much as it kills me, I’d choose it ten times over.
I like working alone for leg day. Because I already know the programs I want to do and I like to focus to feel all the burn.
I am currently resting. I love the exhaustion that comes with working out. It feels like shit great at the same time.
These pictures are from three days ago.
I haven’t taken any new ones. Maybe tomorrow. Pictures comes out better in the mornings. I think.

Thank you for stopping by loves. See you in my next post.

Staying consistent with the gym requires discipline. I’m embarrassed by how many times I’ve gone back only to quit again.

That’s definitely a good idea starting over with lighter weights. You need to work your way up again back to your previous form. Surprised how you managed to keep updating inside the gym though lol.

Good work!

Hi. Thank you for finding my post.
Temporarily quitting the gym hurts. But there’s no shame in taking a break and finding our way back. It is a journey so it’s okay to make stops.

Yeah, I tried the updating thing once and it didn’t take. Lol.
Thanks for stopping by.
Much appreciated.
