[ESP-ENG] Blogging Challenge - Day 14, Thoughts on education | Día 13, Reflexiones sobre la educación

Hablemos de educación y sobre mis pensamientos referentes a la misma, hoy es mi día 14 del #BloggingChallente, primero debo entrar en el tema, que entiendo por educación, para mi la educación es el aprendizaje continuo que vamos adquiriendo con el pasar del tiempo, desde que nacemos hasta la actualidad, por que para mi todos los días aprendemos algo de valor, que nos servirá a futuro, bien sea bueno o malo.

Let's talk about education and about my thoughts concerning it, today is my 14th day of #BloggingChallente, first I must go into the topic, what I understand by education, for me education is the continuous learning that we acquire over time, since we are born until today, because for me every day we learn something of value, which will serve us in the future, either good or bad.

La educación entra por casa | Education begins at home

Totalmente cierto, una buena educación crea sus pilares desde nuestro hogar, con las enseñanzas que recibimos de nuestros padres, por eso es nuestro deber no opcional, enseñar a nuestros hijos, buenas costumbres, enseñar los frutos del trabajo duro, los logros que podemos llegar a alcanzar si somos constantes, tomar el control de una buena formación, dónde principalmente se les enseñe la perseverancia y a lograr cada meta propuestas, en este momento de la pandemia logré entender cuan importante es que mi hijo tenga buena comunicación conmigo, para poder ayudarlo a comprender cada tarea asignada, el trabajo que hacen los profesores es grandioso yo he podido disfrutar de mi hijo, pero también me ha costado un poco con el tema de la educación, pues el me ve como su mamá y no como su maestra así que hace la tarea cuando quiere, pero siempre uso técnicas de persuasión para lograr que las realice.

Totally true, a good education creates its pillars from our home, with the teachings we receive from our parents, so it is our duty not optional, teach our children, good habits, teach the fruits of hard work, the achievements that we can reach if we are constant, take control of a good education, where mainly teach them perseverance and to achieve each proposed goal, at this time of the pandemic I managed to understand how important it is that my son has good communication with me, to help him understand each assigned task, the work that teachers do is great I have been able to enjoy my son, but it has also cost me a little with the issue of education, because he sees me as his mom and not as his teacher so he does homework when he wants, but I always use persuasion techniques to get him to do it.

Educación escolar | School education

Debo ser sincera, la educación a nivel escolar en Venezuela cada día es mas decadente, muchos factores influyen en eso, no debe ser fácil ser maestro o profesor, y ganar un sueldo miserable, ya mi hijo va para un año sin asistir al colegio, tuvo un atraso muy grande el cual estoy tratando de enmendar.

It must not be easy to be a teacher or professor and earn a miserable salary. My son is going for a year without going to school, he had a very big delay which I am trying to make up for.

Los colegios están trabajando 1 vez a la semana aquí en mi país, el representante va retira el cuaderno, que es dónde está la tarea asignada, para la siguiente semana tiene que ir llevar el cuaderno, cosa que no veo bien, pues en la casa los niños no aprenden, hacen la tarea para llevarlas a la asesoría, como por cumplir y listo, todo esto viene como resultado de lo antes expuesto, la falta de motivación monetaria, yo imagino que en este momento miles de niños en el país no deben estudiar, por falta de útiles, de uniformes, de inscripción, de pasajes, por el problema gubernamental que existe, la educación de antes jamás se compara la de ahora, a pesar de que nuestro gobierno se jacta diciendo de que tenemos una educación gratuita para todos.

The schools are working once a week here in my country, the representative takes the notebook, which is where the assigned homework is, for the following week he/she has to bring the notebook, which I do not see well, because at home the children do not learn, they do the homework to take it to the counseling, as if to comply and ready, all this comes as a result of the above, I imagine that at this moment thousands of children in the country do not have to study, for lack of supplies, uniforms, registration, tickets, because of the governmental problem that exists, the education of before never compares to that of now, even though our government boasts that we have a free education for all.

Daños a largo plazo | Long term damage

Como dijo Simón Bolívar, un ser sin estudios es un ser incompleto, totalmente cierto, debo destacar que los problemas educativos en Venezuela no empezaron a raíz de la pandemia, vienen de años atrás, nuestro sistema educativo cada día es peor, no es algo que nadie sepa, pero esto a largo plazo trae consecuencias de daños irreparables, imaginemos nuevas generaciones de adolescentes carentes de educación y visión de futuro, con bases fatales traídas del hogar, a la larga la falta de educación traerá consigo, delincuencia, desempleo, personas incultas con valores casi extintos.

As Simón Bolívar said, a being without studies is an incomplete being, totally true, I must emphasize that the educational problems in Venezuela did not begin as a result of the pandemic, they come from years ago, our educational system is getting worse every day, it is not something that nobody knows, but this in the long term brings consequences of irreparable damage, imagine new generations of adolescents lacking education and vision of future, with fatal bases brought from home, in the long run the lack of education will bring with it, crime, unemployment, uneducated people with almost extinct values.

Por eso trato de no dejar la educación de mi hijo a manos de este sistema educativo, inculcando valores y principios, estudiando a diario con el, tratando de cubrir las fallas que vienen del colegio, deseo que mi hijo sea un hombre de bien, con buenas bases, y con visión a futuro, con sueños y metas por cumplir, esto depende de mi y solo de mi, es mi momento y lo estoy haciendo.

That is why I try not to leave my son's education in the hands of this educational system, instilling values and principles, studying daily with him, trying to cover the failures that come from the school, I want my son to be a good man, with good foundations, and with a vision for the future, with dreams and goals to achieve, this depends on me and only me, it is my time and I am doing it.
