Hoy quiero contarles un poco sobre, uno de los trabajos en el que me desempeño, mi emprendimiento, desde que comenzó la pandemia en marzo del 2020 en Venezuela. Prácticamente quede desempleada por que mi salario es casi nulo, digamos que lo hago por placer, pero en vista de que la situación se apretaba, necesitaba otros ingresos, mantener a mi hijo y a mi madre, siempre son prioridad, yo en el 2018 hice un curso de manicure en el Centro Educativo Logros ubicado en Maracaibo,recuerdo que me costó 20$ aproximadamente en bolívares, lo curse en 3 meses. Yo por la fiebre del momento compre todos mis implemento.

Today I want to tell you a little bit about one of the jobs in which I am working, my business, since the pandemic began in March 2020 in Venezuela. I practically became unemployed because my salary is almost zero, let's say I do it for pleasure, but in view that the situation was tightening, I needed other income, support my son and my mother, they are always a priority, I in 2018 I did a manicure course at the Logros Educational Center located in Maracaibo,I remember it cost me $ 20 approximately in bolivars, I studied it in 3 months. I bought all my implements because of the fever of the moment.

Para marzo del 2020, con plena pandemia no imaginé jamás que podría trabajar como manicurista pero ya tenía las herramientas necesarias para emprender y con mucho tiempo libre decidí iniciar.

By March 2020, in the middle of the pandemic, I never imagined I would be able to work as a manicurist, but I already had the necessary tools to start a business and with a lot of free time I decided to start.

Lo bien aprendido jamás se olvida

Ser manicurista es mucho más que la muchacha que hace las uñas, una especialista en tratamientos de uñas que hace sentir a las personas felices y complacidas, además de decirles que pintar uñas es un arte, muchas veces me toca reparar daños en las uñas (encarnación de de la capa superior de la uña). Acondicionar las manos y las uñas con aceite y luego hidratar, lavar y ya concluye este tratamiento en su primera fase.

Being a manicurist is much more than the girl who does the nails, a specialist in nail treatments that makes people feel happy and pleased, besides telling them that painting nails is an art, many times I have to repair damage to the nails (incarnation of the top layer of the nail). Conditioning the hands and nails with oil and then moisturizing, washing and this is the end of the first phase of the treatment.

Aunque muchos no lo crean se necesitan técnicas y no cualquier persona le dedica tiempo a este arte, recortar, moldear y pulir luego de un tratamiento de uñas acrílicas y ver el resultado del trabajo casi terminado es cómo cuando una artista ha terminado su cuadro, en ocasiones he tenidos clientes que me piden les realice algo en específico como cuando asisten a una boda, fiesta o simplemente para ir al trabajo, hay quieren las usan muy cortas o muy largas, todo depende del gusto del cliente.

Although many do not believe it, techniques are needed and not everyone dedicates time to this art, trimming, shaping and polishing after a treatment of acrylic nails and see the result of the work almost finished is like when an artist has finished her painting, sometimes I have had clients who ask me to make them something specific as when they attend a wedding, party or just to go to work, some want to use them very short or very long, it all depends on the taste of the client.

Soy quien se encarga de comprobar que tus uñas estén en el estado correcto para luego aplicar los químicos que embellecen, tratando los bordes con delicadeza, limpiando y limando para luego ir perfeccionando cada uña con el tamaño adecuado y una vez realizado este paso comienzo con la aplicación del acrílico o gel que durara por un lapso de 15 días, los clientes muchas veces ya traen un diseño específico, por ejemplo, de rayas, con flores, unicolor con una plantilla o dibujo en específico.

I am in charge of checking that your nails are in the right condition and then apply the chemicals that beautify, treating the edges with delicacy, cleaning and filing and then perfecting each nail with the right size and once this step is done I start with the application of acrylic or gel that will last for a period of 15 days, customers often already bring a specific design, for example, stripes, flowers, unicolor with a template or specific drawing.
