My first official LPUD (July 2022)

For the last few months, I've been slowly getting myself more involved in the leo finance community. Before I started paying attention, I used to see leo finance as a place for only the crypto and financial experts, but slowly I've realized that those who are willing to grow and learn (like me) are also welcome. By becoming more active here, I've learnt a lot of things, I have taught a few people some of the things I know, as well as shared experiences which may be beneficial to others.

One of the things I've learnt is that to really show commitment, as we do with hive, one must grow their leo stake. In order to motivate people to do that, leo power up day was created.

On Leo power up day we stake (power up) a minimum of 200 leo tokens to increase our influence on leofinance, and to stand a chance to be one of the lucky three people to win a massive 20k leo power delegation. Last leo power up day happened to be the first ever, and I powered up, but I wasn't eligible as I didn't have up to 200 liquid leo. This power up day I was determined not to miss out so a few days back I bought enough leo to make me eligible for this month's power up day.

Back to my powerup. This month I powered up all my liquid leo tokens which is just 210

Not bad for a first official power up day. I'm hoping I get lucky and win one of the prizes that are up for grabs. Then I can grow my leo stake even faster. I'm far from being a leo dolphin, talk less of Orca, but I think a goal of 1800 leo power before the end of the year is realistic. I'm hoping I can continue to be active, make new friends, and with your support grow both on hive and leo finance.
