What Better Way To End It than - Thank You!
It's official, in a few hours we all know our little number "1" is going to become a number "2". Hopefully, it's a year that doesn't translate to what number two stands for :)
I got a comment from @scholaris this morning on a post I made the previous night. Honestly, if there's anything I've come to realize is that there's nothing greater than a loyal audience. This is something not many of us on Hive have due to the fact that there's often more content falling out than users falling into those contents to interact. I had to ask myself a question; if you feel this good for one compliment, how would you feel for more?
I felt really amazing when scholaris dropped in to acknowledge my work. From the look of his comment and the approach it came in, it tells me that it's with all sincerity since he's been to most of my posts out there. This made me understand that I needed to restructure my priorities, more contents and more involvement, respectively. There's this great feeling I get seeing engagements falling in, and for the past few days, I've been able to draw quite a number of traffic, I can tell because my engagement has been much on certain topics and my page views has been another track tool. As we move into a new age, though it's something that we cannot really control the figures coming in, we can at least build a following that creates better chances for it.
I'm always constantly reminded of the fact that I'm a bitch in whatever space, but as always, I'm forever happy with that personality. The number of people I have been able to connect with has a little to do with that reputation built over the past. Hive is a great place to be, at this point I can say that I'm beginning to view it as an experience with so much knowledge to acquire, rather than another platform one should chase just for the bag. There's more to networking than how people value it, the exchange of information is the most important aspect of it all.
270
Well, the number isn't so high compared to many others who have been here before me and possibly those that came after me. I'd say there were times I got a little distracted and times I just had to give myself to research. However, my total post till this day has undoubtedly brought the best experience alongside.
Moving into the next year, I've decided to focus more on my Hive activities, regardless of what comes up. I feel there's a lot more of experience to take hold of and that can only be possible when I actually pay attention
To everyone on Leofinance, I hope to see you all next year, every deepdivers, I haven't really gotten to know many of you, but from here onwards, I'd be sure to visit posts through the tag to make some friends. And ultimately, all hivers, shout out to you, for making it this far, there's a reason to hang in there and push forward…
Thank you to all my followers and friends for making Hive the best place to be...
Happy New Year In Advance You All…
